New Year's Resolutions

The usual, be healthier and all that jazz. There's not an awful lot I can say I'd commit to, but the odd exercise and making healthier meals for myself is quite easy to do.

I forgot to add stop swearing so much on that list >_<

I resolve to:

-Clean my room when I have the time to.
-Get 10 As or more on my 2nd term report card to get a Honor.
-Finish my homework daily.
-Stop lying about my feelings
-Be assertive
-Convince my mom to get a cat even if she hates them.
-Take care of my electronics
-Get bank account
-Get whole new wardrobe
-Get snow boots
-Get allowance
-Wash my hair when I have time
-Study for tests and quizzes
-Try to convince my mom to let me stay home on January the 7th even if my family is Christians and I'm not since I'm Eastern Orthodox and I have volleyball tryouts on January the 7th. Hope it's rescheduled.
-Ignore people's insults on what they think of me.
-Be proud of my hearing aids.

It was going to be "Be a nicer person in general" but I got bored of that in the first ten minutes...

So it's now "keep up my school grades, and attempt to give a shit about french again"

I already broke one of my resolutions...So much for a diet...I just ate half of a chocolate cake...=\

January 1st is looking kind of grim. My bf and I lost every single song on our Ipod (some kind of glitch).

I had to tear our bedroom apart finding the warranty for one of our PSPs, and for the PS3...

We're both pretty pissed off at the world right now, so...
F*** you 2008. <__<

Last year's was 'No longer be hung up about that girl', that went straight out of the window before it even hit mid-night so this year I've settled for something much more tangible.

Moonie's New Year's Resolutions 2008:

- Get another Job. I need more moneys and something to occupiey me during the rest of the week....

- Get back into doing Art. After the big cock up of having to drop out of College last year I haven't really done anything with my art or produced anything new. The one thing I'm talented at and I'm doing fuck all about it, smoooooth....

- Stop lying and pissing off people around me. I have issues....

and finally the main one...

- Exercise more. I don't do alot and I seirously need to do more. and my current line of work can get very physical most times so could do with building myself up abit more. Plus I'm about as fit as a mouldy Orange which just down right annoys me....

Tried to have a woman trouble free New Years this year after the diabolical that was last's. Unfortunately that didn't go so well. and guaranteed half of my resolutions will not be kept but I shall trooper on as best as I can.

As long as carry on losing fat and building up my muscles then i'll be happy. Plus when i'm done paying off my folks i'll start saving money again in april

This will be the first year I make one..

To live life to the fullest, and to make sure that 2008 will be a MUCH better year than 2007 was.

I plan further strengthen my spirit of benevolence toward all people. I will strive to feel no worse than indifference toward others (though I have a coworker that will no doubt put me to the test. Curse you Pa... I mean... *ahem*... whatever:dry:).

My New Year's Resolutions include:

Learn how to drive
Buy a high-definition TV set
Prove myself that I can fit in with the Internet forums
Become more respected
Start my own Website

My resolution for 2007 was to get a job and leave my parents' home, and that resolution came true.

You're 28 and can't drive? :| And good luck on being respected *scoffs*

I quit smoking :D

You DID quit, or plan to? Because if you DID quit, much congrats to you. If you PLAN on quitting, stick to it. I've seen too many people swear up and down they'll quit, and then they cave in.

As for my resolutions, I don't usually make them but I have goals which I suppose could count: do well in school, especially math. And also make a friend that I can hitch a ride with down to Atlanta for the Taste of Chaos tour xD

When I was at college, we had someone who was 50 in our group and one of the acest lasses I know. Mature Stoodants for the win!

To do well at school because its something I want to do. I don't normally make resolutions about 'giving up' and 'taking up' things because I can gurantee I won't stick to them >_<

To pay off my credit card. That's all I'm going to say. It's $500 and I'm having a hard time paying it off...whenever I see money I spend it right away so that's why even though $500 seems like nothing to many - it's a lot to me :sad2:
