New World Order In Final Fantasy

Well.........A while back, I was playing Final Fantasy IX and came accross the illuminati sign................For those of you who don't know who the illuminati or New world order is,I suggest you research them.

ALSO ON WIKI IT STATES THE ILLUMINATI ARE ACTIVE IN MODERN CULTURE SUCH AS VIDEOGAMES! and carries on to say more specifcally in role-playing games:

Sorry about the pictures but I couldn't find any better ones (you can see the sign in the middle of the picture) (it's more clearer if you go there ).........This is in Ipsen's Castle,I'm also sure there is more signs in oeilvert. You can see a clearer version if you go there yourself.

that's it............I was sure I saw it there...........I'm kind of sure it's illuminati..........as on wiki it does say they appear on video games and more specifically role-playing games...........but how come this hasn't been confirmed,I have been searching on the internet but still nothing.

then we can say that perhaps the Terrans had similar symbols to the Illuminati, though such symbols have been used by many.

I doubt it goes deeper than that. I doubt the Illuminati have infiltrated SE. They most likely studied symbols and their impact, and probably adapted this symbol if anything. The Terrans were mysterious, and before we knew anything about them some of these places seemed really strange. The symbol was probably used to link them all together; a kind of clue for the player before everything was revealed.

Perhaps if the link goes further than that then the symbols could be suggestive of a New World Order of sorts, but that of the

Yes,but am not saying the illuminati are like controlling SE but in the wiki it does say about role-playing games..........and well Final Fantasy is one of the biggest role-playing games out there...........plus what other role-playing games are there out there with the symbol?............But you do have a point when you say were mysterious and could be compared to the illuminati.............

It's not like the Illuminati invented the symbols they use... a lot of the spellcasting pentacles you see are common geometric shapes or convenient patters that date back to the Greeks and Romans. There may be a coincidence here and there if you're really looking at floor patterns, but there's as much likelihood of FF 13 having Nazi influences simply because the Cactuars look vaguely like swastikas.

Either way it sounds ridiculous.

I can't count how many times I've see that Illuminati sign in movies (it must be hundreds) but I don't see anything in that screen you posted. Just looks like a triangle. I'd have to play the game again for a clearer image because I can't tell from the above image.

I agree with the person above me you have to find a clearer picture for me to believe it.
But besides that the Illuminati is Far Too Arrogant to even give a damn about the guys that play Final Fantasy Games. I can understand where your coming from with the Illuminati in Pop Culture but i doubt the real ones (If That!) would put that in the game.

Not only are the images posted here of quite bad quality (which is not really your fault at all), but they don't seem to both load every time. Sometimes one image will load and other times both will, so perhaps not everyone is seeing the crucial image.

It would be great if we could see the other instances that the symbol has been used in this game, but screenshots of those would be hard to get.

The Illuminati are used in fiction a lot. Books, films and games may feature them or have references to them. This is because we are fascinated by conspiracy, secret societies, and the idea that a group of people are ruling / changing the world from behind the scenes.

I think it is too much to say that the Illuminati have infiltrated or are influencing the video gaming world. They are used in fiction only because they are interesting, and the fear of secret and unknown power behind the scenes is quite effective in fiction.

I do think that FF may have used such symbolism in FFIX, but it is impossible to say that based only on a few images, a memory of such symbols being at other Terran sites, and the eye of the Invincible. It's not beyond them though. They have adapted symbols, cultural elements and ideas from different groups for use in games. I wouldn't say that it is farfetched to say that they have gone for something similar in FFIX by using symbols similar to the Illuminati in Terran architecture.

I'll try to get better pictures,but it is hard to find because NOTHING on the net says anything about the symbol............But (to CHIP and Zidane) really if your so concerned about the image head over to ipsen's castle yourself...........I've tried to get images..........but even in walkthrough and such the image is still smudgy...........But if you do go there yourself you will see the triangle,simaler to the illuminati sign................or is it the illuimnati sign?

But I will add that I used to think a lot about the Illuminati but then I realized, what would they gain from placing one or two obscure images in the background? Mass world domination? They don't need that seeing how half the world is interested in scandals and celebrities. The British wedding and the Weiner scandal come to mind. >_>;

It's not the symbol of the Illuminati.... The Illuminati symbol has the eye on the top, and the Ispen's castle has something in the middle, but not up the top of the triangle.

I wish people who show interest in religious symbols and such, would at least take some time to actually read a book ...instead of ...well, you know, talking about some odd ass secret conspiracy that doesn't seem like much of a secret since apparently everyone who's over 12 years old and has an internet connection has unraveled some great mystery that spans centuries. I'd love to be a freemason only to find out how much they like to laugh at gullible people who believe everything that's written on the internet.

Not only is the whole illuminati/NWO thing pretty much fictional (or at least, very unsubstantiated), but it gets even more hilarious when some people actually suggest some cigarette smoking trench coat man lurking in the shadows makes the cogs in the machine function by planting religious symbols in a videogame.
