New Nier Replicant Trailer Focuses On The Other Nier [3/8]

We’ve seen lots of videos from Nier Gestalt or simply Nier in North America. This trailer is all about Nier Replicant, which features a young hero on a quest to save his sister. In both games, Yonah is infected by the Black Scrawl and a floating book called Grimoire Weiss powers Nier up.


While Nier’s look and relation to Yonah are said to be the only core changes, Nier Gestalt and Nier Replicant are advertised with a different feel. Take a look at the latest Nier Gestalt trailer.

I still would like the option to buy Replicant, but I admit it, that Gestalt trailer was pretty epic. Certainly nothing to scoff at even if I don't like the Nier's design in that game, but Kaine and that skull-monster-thing peak my interest more than anything

I was probably going to go for Gestalt anyway, and it does look pretty epic.

I'm not fan of the graphics though. They look a bit plain IMO and Nier's voice sounds very generic.

I'll wait to see what the reviews are like TBH.

Ok Wow that was so intense. Im gonna buy Gestalt though since I feel like it. I though replicant was japan only anyway. Omg the gameplay looks so awesome and The blood just gushes out. Bloody SE games are EPIC! Well gonna play XIII till this and resonance come out!
