Mmmk well you all know the stats of the Aurochs right? well i've managed to replace a few of them, but Botta still sucks ass at Lv 14. while every other player i have on my team hit double digit stats by Lv 10, he still hasnt (without the use of techniques.)

So i was wandering if you guys could give me suggestions for a good rear defender to replace him.
 
Botta only rerally has a high BLOCK stat M>II not much else, a decent pass stat tho.

I assume you have finished the air ship?
try and find a chick named........Naida? I think, she has much better stats that Botta and sher is fast as well!

yeah i have the Airship. Naida...Al Bhed right? where is she? is she with the rest of the Psyches or somewhere else? lol I need fast players, HATE going up against Psyches and Fangs (slow but fucking tanks!)

Hmm, Should i also recruit a Ronso or just stick with Al Bhed?
 
what do you need to strengthen?

Front line, ball carrier(centre), Goallie?

If you want a good front man.........errr ronso you want big Zev M>II high pass,attack,block, and he is faster than most other ronso by at least 10 points.

Well so far my team is doing alright, i haven't lost a game as of yet (Tidus + Jecht Shot = pwnage.)

I got so far:

LF Jassu ** (maybe)
RF Nimrook (for the moment, his attack rating is pretty good when he uses techniques) **
MF Tidus
LD (Botta) **
RD Judda (LOVE this chick.)
GD Keepa (Lol) **

** means i'm looking to replace later on

I stick Jassu on front because he has good endurance and decent attack. I'm kinda lvling Niimrook at the moment, i kinda like my goalie already for the moment lol.

and wakka? he's lvl 6, how am i meant to lvl him up so he's actually good considering he'll never hold the ball long enough to do anything with it?
 
Fuck Wakka. Get Brother, and plug him in the middle. Fast+good pass+good shot=instant win.
 
Last I checked, all you needed was the airship. He's the pilot, so you can't miss him.

my team never consisted of wakka till later i will tell you the best team never got me even close to losing a match and even got some double digits
soz if i get names wrng been i while since i played it plus my copy got scratched to death sooo yeah

LF tidus (gets him closer to the goals and since he has some alright endurance and jecht shot all you really need to do is pass it to him and you will get a goal)

RF put anyone with shot and endurance to rival tidus's when he isn't using a technique

MID Zev Ronso (this dude is a tank seriously he comes with tackle slip so put that on and then he also has golden arm so great for long distance shots and some passes get him a shot tech and he will be a great source of goals when you want him to be)

LB jassu huge attack

RB i can't remember his name but he was an original member of the aurochs i think it was lenny or something well with him i managed to get him to a good level and he was a beast when it came to passing i don't remember whether he could learn golden arm or not but he can learn pretty much any passing tech his pass got to like 20 something when he was at like 16 maybe he could get passed any block and still make the pass especially with the pass techs

GK i left keepa up until i got a goalie who i worked out would be better and i think it was nimrook though it was through great dificulty as i kind of like keepa but he is good he has i think the third highest catch in the game chuck on super goalie and grip gloves and he cannot miss a catch

i do think my RF was eventually wakka as he is basically tidus maybe a bit better but without jecht shot and just cause he is level six is no problem the trick is to get him to be RB or LB in the match get tidus and/or zev to get like 3 goals and then get hte ball and pass it to whoever can make the throw most likely zev if you get him swim all the way to the back of the gaol post and start passing to the other dude in the back preferably lenny (or w/e his name was) and have him pass back to wakka repeat this until the end of the match each pass gives like one exp to each player that passes the ball and you can pass it quite a lot in 10 mins so he should hit like 14 in about three matches tops

You need defense?

I always just shoot with Tidus from midfield, and then have Tidus and the center (I forget his name) tag team the carrier, who usually heads right into Tidus anyway.

The ball rarely gets passed midfield for them, but I do have Ropp and....someone? (I think an Auroch) on defense just in case.

Just grab some defensive techs with Tidus and you'll be fine really. I usually end a game with a score around 12-2.

Easy mode.
 
yeah you need to play on the harder difficulty it is so much more fun especially the grinding right at the end of the game
 
All I do is pass to Tidus, who is at the halfway line, then make Tidus swim a bit closer and use either Jecht Shot or the one where you get random numbers (can't remember). It works a treat but your level has to be quite high.

For defence, I have Brother and another guy who was originally on the team. I don't really scout for others.
