I can see Cloud basically dressed like how he is in Advent Children, just with-out the arm thing, the gloves, and that weird (dare I say it...) skirt thing -- because when it comes down to it he has pretty plain and normal clothing. Unlike the other characters like Vincent and Tifa he was designed pretty normally.


Definitely can not see him wearing turtle necks like his soldier uniform -- or purple since his uniform was actually Navy Blue. Since he didn't even pick those clothes and they were indeed an outfit.



His AC shirt is different its not a turtle neck its a collar.

On Cloud being a cuddly-guy...

He's an enigma, a loner and a jerk -- I think its more than a crust -- besides I can't see him being "nice" or "cuddly" to just anyone -- its just not him -- even to his friends he'd still be a jack-ass. I mean he told Yuffie he didn't care about her history or feelings or whatever and that was after they had been friends for awhile -- and in Dirge of Cerberus he still looks like he's hard to get a hold of. I mean SE made the God of the Underworld impressed by his stiffness -- hard-ass Cloud is here to stay.

Whoops, and I agree with WG here: I can imagine Cloud wearing what he usually wears minus the pauldron, gloves and sheath. He'd totally be the sort to wear whatever plain T-shirt he found that was clean, too.

I cannot see him wearing anything slightly formal. Not even a button-down shirt. Cloud's wardrobe seems to be about ease of movement and comfort. It's one of the reasons I like this character -- he dresses with the same goal in mind that I do!

Before, he was just living in a made-up role for himself, acting like he thought a hero should act and stuff. Only when Tifa straightens his shit out in the Lifestream do we finally get to meet the REAL Cloud. D: And the real Cloud doesn't seem to be as much as a hardass as before. I don't think he'd be a party-goer or anything, but he'd definitely be a bit more open to people than he was before. As we see in AC, he doesn't like being alone, so that has to say something!

And Like I said before and has been said by the creators the line"Not interested" is one that says volumes about his character. Also when Cloud says those jack-assy things to Yuffie its optional so it could be Post-Lifestream event or Pre-Lifestream event

Also, I never said Cloud was emo -- I said and it has been said that he's jack-ass. Emo, Jack ass -- not so much the same thing, not even close. *winces* Hey hey hey, bring the volume down a few notches! It isn't LTD -- we know that Tifa really likes Cloud, right? The LTD is all about who CLOUD likes, not the other way around. I'd say Tifa has some plans for Cloud in the long run, it's just debatable as to whether Cloud would concede to those plans!

That's all well and good but you are completely ignoring Advent Children and the Creators words. Cloud wasn't just acting like a Hero he was acting like Zack and Zack definitely isn;t the kind of person to say "Blow off" to someone, or tell someone that he doesn't care about their problems or the fate of the world -- that's all Cloud.

Cloud wasn't just picking up a random persona -- he was picking up Zacks and Zack isn't a jack-ass, he's nice.
