My FF collection is quite a nice collection as far as they go and since we're all FF fanboys & girls here, enjoy the pics.

Perhaps you could also show off any rare FF-related media you own?

PIC 1 :

In this picture; FF Origins (new & sealed, never opened), FF Anthology (4+5), Final Fantasy, 6, 7, 8 and 9 PLATINUM, FFIX (Rare black label), FF X, FFX-2, FFXI, FFXI Wings of the godess expansion, FFXII chains of promathia expansion, FFXII, Above that we have the rare Japanese FFVI for the Famicom aka Snes (more pics will come for that) and the MEGA RARE Chocobo Land - A Game of Dice for the GBA, again, Japanese. Spirits within soundtrack

Other side now we have FFXII Revenant Wings (DS), FFIV DS, FF Crystal Chronicles - Ring of fates (DS), (i do have FF3 but that's lent out at the moment)

FFVII Original Sound Track - rare

Under there we have Final Fantasy Tactics War of the lions for the PSP, Final Fantasy 1 & 2 BOTH JAPANESE but have the option to play in English. I got these approx 6 months before they came out in the UK and completed FF1 before it was out in the UK :D (proud)

Below that, Final fantasy 7 Advent children UMD, Crisis Core, mega rare Limited Edition UK pack with an artbook, game and cardboard package.

below that, Dirge of cerberus, Spirits within x 2, UK and Jap version, Advent Children x 2, UK + Jap Version

PIC 2:

You're looking at strategy guides but i'll picture some of those later, some are rare.

You're catching a glimpse of the INSANELY LIMITED Japanese Crisis Core PSP console, each one was Numbered 1 - 77,777. Mine is number 11,359 or something similar, will photo i t soon. I've saw that go for £600 on eBay. Very rare and collectable.

Crisis Core Earphones - 10th aniversary promo item, insanely rare.

Moving on, you'll see a COMPLETE set of Mini Trading Arts Volume 1. Cloud, Tidus, Rinoa, Vaan, Penelo, Yuna

I only have one Mini T A Volume 2 which is Ashe.

On the right of that, you'll see a VERY, VERY rare Metalic statue of Vivi from FFIX. (One of my personal favorites i own).

On the right of this, you can just about make out my Advent Children figure of Vincent from FFVII, stands about 12 inches tall i'd guess? and another statue (i will take more pics) of Vincent from Trading Arts Volume 2

Please comment, i hope you like my collection

Thats a good collection you got there. I wish I had all that sitting in one of my rooms. How long have you been playing Final Fantasy and collection stuff? most of my walkthroughs I buy end up losing pages and getting ruined. The stuff you got is in good condition too. Nice job.

Wow!
You have the Chocobo Collection set!
Does it work btw? Or does it not because they're Japanese games?
If they do work, what are Chocobo Stallion and Dice de Chocobo like?

Brilliant collection overall... But the Chocobo Collection set is the most prized piece to my eyes! It just doesn't exist to westerners... Only Chocobo Racing, which is a rarity in itself (took me years to track that down and afford it, in fact I never afforded it but 3 friends split the cost between them in order to afford it for my birthday one year).

Thankyou :) All of the walkthroughs are in excellent condition apart from the FFIX Hologram edition which has a bit of shelf wear and the FF Origins guide for the PS1 which has a bit more shelf wear and some creased pages, other than that, it's all in a good condition.

I've been playing Final Fantasy since i first played FFVII in 1997, but i started collecting FF stuff about 2-3 years ago and i think so far, i'm happy with my progress. It has cost me a fortune, but i've got nothing else to spend the money on , so yeah!

Unfortunately, i can't play it because my PS1 isn't chipped or hacked and i'd rather not meddle with my PS1, but if anyone knows a way i could get it working, do let me know!

In fact, you've just given me an idea. I could probably rip the game and put it on my PSP, but it'll be in Japanese. I'll get back to you on that, but i'm pretty sure they'll be decent enough games.

I've also got some more VERY rare stuff and i'll wait until Sunday to take a pic of those because i need to collect it from the guy i've bought it from.

But Chocobo Land - A Game Of Dice is also one of the rarest games i've come across, it doesn't exist outside of Japan and i managed to get hold of one from Play-Asia as they were clearing out old stock.

Believe it or not, they look like they've got some in stock right now!

...WOW dude you are sitting on over 1 mil dollars there alone. If you keep everything in good condition for about 5 more years then you could make a fortune off of it.

He can right now too.
The cheapest one is going to run at roughly $50, while the most expensive one can run up to $5000. In other words it is very huge in value already. If only you had the rare correct FF4 us game. There were only around 100 of those released, so they can run up to 10,000 easy.

When you say FF4 US, do you mean FFII on the Snes that was actually FFIV?

Thanks for looking btw guys :)

No there were a few released as FF4 Square got a bad rep for doing it though because people bought it thinking that it was a different game when it wasn't.

Wow, i've never even heard of that. Must be rare if i've not heard of it. Unfortunately i haven't got that piece and finding it is probably nigh on impossible now.

I only saw it once and was offered it for $10. Now I wish I had bought it. As I said before there was only around 100 copies released.

Got nearly all the guides myself, aside from anthology, isnt that like V & VI though...? Anyway, I need guides for 4 5 and 6, i have the rest, got ffiii for a few quid in game and origins off ebay amazon for afew quid also, guides are really the only thing I collect, I need the ones for revenant wings aswel. Anthology always seems to be like 20- 40 quid, cba paying that much, i almost had a coronary when i paid 18 forthe hardback for xii >>

Not a bad collection at all though, I have afew figures, but I seem to be vbored of collecting them already, I prefer the guides

Oh never even KNEW there was a shiny IX one :gasp:

Yep, Anthology guide from the USA is FFV and FFVI.

You need to be careful about buying the shiny FFIX one since there are 3 different types of Bradygames FFIX guides.

1) normal, no hologram etc
2) normal but contains exclusive poster
3) the extremely rare, hologram/shiny FFIX guide

If you try to buy one from eBay or Amazon, ask the seller exactly what it is you're buying beforhand because they look similar on pictures, but when you recieve them, they are different as i have listed above.

The shiny guide goes for anything from £30-£100, so if you're desperate to get a hold of it, be prepared to pay big bucks for it. Is it worth it? Well yes if you're a collector but in terms of the actual guide itself, no. The piggyback guide released in the UK is better.

Anyways thanks for checking out my collection :P

Wow, awesome collection! And I'd never heard of those rare FFIV copies either, sucks that you passed up that offer, Alexei.

Since no one guessed my rare game that i own, that is in MINT condition, disk, instructions, front and back covers in the original box;

check out the PAL (not the easilly available NTSC & NTSC/J version) of Chocobo Racing by Squaresoft

11tbuog.jpg

For our friends overseas, they may not see the value and rarity of this item, but having a PAL version of Chocobo Racing is like hitting the jackpot.

They rarely pop up on eBay and when they do, they go for a fair few bucks. I doubt you'll come across one that's in this condition either unless it's new & sealed, which it'd go for £££'s in that case.

Wow thats really an impressive collection Shyne. I love all the action figures and that you collected a lot of the games from the Snes as well. You got a lot of cool collectors editions of the games that are quite hard to find. Now i have one question. Where did you pick up the action figures? I've been looking all over to find some and i really want to get my collection going.

I will be updating the thread by next friday with some really, really rare items, so keep this bookmarked!

Thanks :-)

My figures, mostly were from www.play-asia.com - However the Mini Trading Arts are now out of print and the only way to get them is via eBay and people charge crazy amounts for them!

All trading arts, mini & Dissidia were from Play-Asia.com

The Mechanical Arts Highwind figure was from an eBay seller in Japan (It's a genuine item, not a copy though)

The other figures are from www.play.com , however they are about a year out of print, maybe more now.

The figures are always limited even if they don't say it and they sell like hot cakes.

There is approx 6 Dissidia figures to collect and i bought two of them (Squall and Zidane, you get them randomly from Play-Asia) and one day later, they completely sold out and listed the items as out of stock and wont be getting in more as they are out of print.

as promised, more rare items/photos/ FF stuff...

The very rare, limited Coca Cola Collection Promo figures.

and now Ehrgeiz PAL version - RARE :D & FF Unlimited box set, 7 disks. All episodes.

s6300507.jpg

Comments more than welcome.
