well morrissey said we used to have ajuke box, so this vB has sound/music capabilities, well some forums i use(d) had music playing in profiles.. sometimes with a embedded small video or sumin, but thats fail = lag, but how about we be allowed to upload a single song, or mabie a small playliist, or even have it connected to rep/posts/shouts anything, up to 5 songs or something... or just the one xD what you all think..

I think its pretty pointless. Most people have either an itunes or have windows media player on their computer. I for one would rather listen to that. And if its gunna lag the site even more then it should be a definate no.

Speaking only for myself, I completely agree with Lew. Most people won't listen to the music for the reasons stated above. Also as lag was a somewhat considerable problem that's only really started to improve, it would be counterintuitive to implement something that would almost undoubtedly increase lag. Also so far demand for this is quite low so that would also be a reason against it.

Don't worry about it, it was still a good suggestion regardless.

But yeah, the whole lag thing would be a huge problem, especially when you're looking at 3MB minimum for a song, then times that by how many people are active...you'll be able to see the problem.

Had we a decent server I'd be inclined to agree, but it's just the lag. Although it could become problematic that mods would have to go through people's profile songs to make sure they're appropriate which would be a tedious job.

yeah, im pretty much in agreement here with it just taking up space that would be better used elsewhere.

I personally just leave warcraft open all the time and let it play through all of my MUSE, AC/DC, SOAD, AM, and other stuff I dont have albums of.

Don't think I'd ever bother with it tbh.

I'd understand maybe a little something like a profile song if we were on 3.7, but we're not. =(
