Seeing as we can't play .mov files on windows movie maker, can anyone tell me of a program than can support .mov files...? I tried Pazera before but I couldn't get it to work, but that's probably just me being @_@ when it comes to technical things like this. It would be ideal if someone can give me a step-by-step as well, but that's probably asking too much. Anyway, any help would be appreciated. :)

I think .mov files are Quicktime files. :hmmm:

You should be able to download a Quicktime movie player and get them to work. I don't know of any other program that supports them.

Ah yes I've tried that, and it does work, but I guess what I wanted more specifically is to be able to load more than one .mov files so I can make a little movie out of it. I think with Quicktime player, it only lets you open files one at a time but you can't really edit or add music or anything. :hmmm: So basically, a video editing program similar to windows movie maker...?

I think .MOV files are made to play on Quicktime. But Quicktime is awful in my opinion because it kills your internet window for the video to play. I use VLC Media Player I believe for .MOV files. That player will play almost any file format. I'd say give that a shot Mits!

EDIT: :ninja: should really be changed to :tia: :hmph:

Download Sony Vegas Pro 9 trial. It'll let you add nearly any movie file type. I'm working on a side project with .mov files and this works just fine.

Now...it is a bit complicated at first, but if you're just doing simple fading in between videos, than it should be pretty simple.

I'mma agree with Stang and say VLC. VLC plays almost any file there is. I've had it almost two years now and not found anything it doesn't play :se7:

VLC is good for viewing movies, but it basically gives you no editing options. Download a copy of Quick Time Pro if you want to splice movies together.
