tbh i found the joke in bad taste as well, but people will always believe what they want to believe about him, personally I think innocent till proven guilty...If there was truth behind those rumors, the family would not have settled out of court, they would have wanted to take him to the cleaners, and the 2nd one was also proven to be crap (if they were so adamant where was the court appeal?) I will say the media are flogging it really heavily at the moment and I think in all honesty they should at least let the Jackson family rest and have a little bit of f**kin respect for a change, afterall...they have been a large factor in MJ's downfall, and theres no denying that!

The guy was tried on ten counts of child molestation and was found innocent on all accounts. Yes the guy was a bit odd but if you look at his interviews, I really don't see someone who wants to have sex with children. I think he was the result of basically going into fulltime work, in his case show business, from the age of 5. Most people wont start a part time job till they are 20. He had no childhood ostensibly, his Father was a tyrant so im not surprised his life was in a state of extended childhood.
The guy was a legend, his music was phenomenal and watching the guy dance was like watching quicksilver in motion. The music world is poorer for this loss.

When I got told the news on Friday morning at 6:30, I thought my mum and sister were pulling my leg! Seriously. But when I was watching GMTV and This Morning, they confirmed it and I just couldn't believe it! "Man In The Mirror" topped the UK Official Download Chart yesterday. 43 of his songs were in the Top 200! It's amazing with all the hype surrounding his death that it could go on for years at this rate.
His face is all over the papers. He has been since Friday, anyway. He's constantly on the news, this is going to be going on for a long time ... needless to say, I'm very saddened to hear that he's died because I grew up listening to his hits from the 90's and so on.

When heard about the news was really shocked and saddened. Micheal Jackson was a great singer and a great legend. However he had power, and people wanted to abuse his power. Which lead him into a depressing state before his death. Don't believe that he was a child-abuser at all. No way, his Father treated him like crap so wanted to try and escape back into his childhood and have another chance at his childhood.
Think with the news out now how Micheal Jackson's dad doesn't really give two shits about his own son's death is enough is really enough proof that Micheal really wanted to escape from his bad childhood. The one thing I'm getting tired of is people my age and younger acting like the worst thing just happened ever. Almost all of them have never enjoyed Michael Jackson's music, cared about him, or knew who exactly he even was. BUT WHEN HE DIES, EVERYONE SUDDENLY CARES. I honestly don't really give a shit that he's dead because I could care less about pop music and mainstream culture. I do admit he was one catchy motherfucker, though.
Kinda surpised when it happened, but looking back at how he lived his life, he really didn't take very good care of himself over the years. I mean he had that pop look to him and was living the high life it seemed, but through all the legal issues and just media portrayal of him (weather true or not) could not have been helping him at all.
I mean it sucks that anyone dies pretty young and all, but they've been playing it on TV for like what,4 weeks now, even though he's only been gone for almost 2, I know. It just seems like even though they are saying it's a "tribute" to him, it seems like they are overkilling it.
