Member of the Month

Oh wow this topic is really old. But nah no need for this it just would be stupid in my opinion. Kira has said it all. Ryan has also. How would you know who is Member of the month exactly? Determinded on activity? or maybe post count? Or whoever has the most Variety? Nah no thanks. Stupid idea is stupid. Besides it will usually be a Mod since they have no choice but to usually be on daily.
 
Cheeky sod. The non eligle as vet members is a good idea i guess, it'd have to apply to staffers as well I think. But its more just the effort that would have to go into it I think, monthly seems abit much if it was to be done, maybe quarterly if it was ever gunna happen, then the yearly one as usual with all the cats and no one exempt from it. Its just really, with things like this, and why the yearly awards always look so biased or favouritismified or whatever is there's only a small handful of folk that are really all that active and stick around for long periods of time, which is why alot of the same folk win alot of the same awards
 
I guess you guys are right about this. I just wanted to hear your opinions about my idea. Now I know how it would turn out if it were to make it a monthly award. Well it was a worth a try.
 
Sigh, that's what most Shu-rific is for! Member of the Millennium! I kid, but seriously, not sure this could work anywhere where over 100 folks visit a forum per day. It's just pretty impossible, unless we base it off of popularity. Popularity, should never go rewarded though, in my opinion this is a community, no need to divide folks from the flock. There would be to broad of criteria's folks could be eligible for, and let's face it, we all make this here forum run, would be pretty pointless to give a reward when someone didn't earn it.
