Maxing out stats

hey im gonna max out stats on my character yuna, tidus and auron is it ok to just like kill arena monsters to get heaps of spheres then to fill empty nodes with them? then wen everythings full use clear spheres to wipe it out so i can work on hp?
 
So wait, wiping out the nodes you've already filled, doesn't lower your stats that you earned befroe does it? I've never attempted to give clearing nodes a shot yet.
 
That could be true, but why would you clear nodes? That's basically pointless.
 
Make sure you use the exact amount of spheres for each stat required or there won't be enough nodes to max your stats, and even after that I don't think it's possible to max your stats without armor. From what I remember the best way to do it is max everything except for MP then get armor with MP + X% (whatever the highest amount for X is possible).
 
Wtf is a clear sphere?
Something only available in the uK i presume?
 
That is a really good idea to max out the stats because you can replace a useless +1 strength sphere with a beautiful +4 strength sphere. Instead of using 4 +1 strength spheres, you only use 1 which basically gets you +16 for the same room as +4.

Eventually you can max out all your stats except hp because there just arent enough spaces to fill it up
 
defence was a little harder to max out than str cause theres more of them originally
but clear sphere are needed otherwise you wont have enough nodes left

I wouldn't have thought it was exclusive to the UK. I've not heard of this before, but I'm assuming you've just missed it.

A Clear Sphere wipes the content of the desired node. This allows a player to max out his/her stats easier.

And yes, clearing a sphere you've activated (say...+1 STR), your STR value would go down by that amount... if it's STR. Logical thinking right there.
 
before you use the clear sphere make sure you have used all empty node other wise it would be a waste of a clear sphere (they arent too easy to get ya know)

No, it's available in the US as well. After the monster arena guy creates Ultima Buster I think he adds Clear Spheres to the item selection in his shop inventory.
 
never heard of it either but might look into this one, I like the idea of being able to wipe things out with the click of a finger ;)
 
Good idea. It takes so long to max out characters with the sphere grid :( or at least it feels like it does.
 
Yeah, it took me over 100 hours and I only maxed out Rikku and Auron

it took me 220 hours to max out three of em :(
i suppose i did alot of blitzball as well though :(
 
i suppose that would take alot of time with blitzball, my friend played blitzball and he played the game for around 630 hours, his blitz team is the best if i ever saw one, but his characters... well their strength and mag def are maxed out for his main characters but everything else sucks, but all his characters mag def are maxed out... well except for lulu, because who actually uses her anymore?
 
i dont cause her overdrive isnt that good
i prefer other people
