Whenever I try to mark a forum as read, nothing happens. The page doesn't reload to show that is has been marked. I click.. and click... and click... and nothing ever happens.
 
Do the pages with little gold/orange flags turn grey/black? If so, that's them marked as read
 
Not that I can see, they're still red/yellow... and then the new posts of the day is still 20+ pages. xD
 
By Marking as Read. are you double clicking on the Chocobo's or whatever the icons for the forums are that you're viewing? I think different skins have different icons.
 
Oh, wow, yeah that's what I was using too. Never recognized what they were as forum markers. It's those little Heads that are orangish and when no new one's are in there they are greyish? Are you asking why they are still colored in if no new posts have been made in there?
 
I'm not sure what... oh those head things. Not quite what I was looking for.

But I think it's solved... it wasn't a matter of the tiny little envelope icons turning grey... but them being closed... /facepalm
 
Yeah, if you want to makr a forum as read really quick, just double click on the orangish colored head and it will mark everything in that forum as read. It's the easiest way to do it from what I know. I also think there is an option somewhere where you can mark Everything in the forum as read at once as well.
