Now I do have something else, however it's fanart and so it's not done in my usual style. The new Inuyasha episode was on yesterday and yes...my favorite character in the whole series
died...;_;

Oh Mandi... SO SAD :sad2: I'm going to sob when I get to that episode, I swear xD It looks so horribly sad for Inuyasha... poor guy D: I love the little mini pictures there, and I can't WAIT to see this one colored... despite how sad it is :gonk:

Not to say that they are better than your previous work, just that these are just as brilliant!

I simply adore the hairstyles you've given them and the eyes and lips look simply fantastic!

You've really captured the emotion in these!
 
Thanks guys! :D I'll probably be posting more of that new style soon so keep your eyes pealed! Anyway, I finished coloring my most recent sketch of Inuyasha and Kikyo/Kikyou. So I will say now:

INUYASHA SPOILERS BELOW!! VIEW DRAWING AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

This drawing took me almost 3 freakin days to finish! It's insane huh? Right, where to begin. Well, this past Saturday the new episode of Inuyasha came on and it was really really really damned sad. I don't really want to go into deep explanation, but let's just say I've actually never cried like that during an anime. This particular chapter in the manga made me cry some. Other anime has made me cry some, but this episode right here in particular absolutely did me in. As most of you all know, Kikyou/Kikyo is my favourite anime character, especially in Inuyasha.

Now, you also should know that despite the fact she's my fave, I DO NOT ship the Inuyasha and Kikyou pairing AFTER she's been resurrected. Now before hand, before Kagome came into the picture, before she was even BORN and when they were together then sure. They would've made a very sweet couple. But alas that didn't happen. Anyway, I wanted to draw their final moments together but I wanted to draw a few of the poses and images they were in and express Inuyasha's anguish over losing Kikyou. So, I drew 5 separate images. I wasn't sure how to space them out, so I just kinda scattered them wherever. They're not in order and neither are the quotes from this particular scene.

However if you've read the manga chapter and/or seen the new episode then you can probably guess what order they should be in. I absolutely wailed the way they had her die in Inuyasha arms. It was so different in the manga and so much more pronounced in the anime, the way her head just fell back in mid-kiss and then she just faded away. It was beautifully bittersweet and heartbreaking. Anyway, here's Inuyasha sharing our lovely Kikyou's final moments with her, along with giving her a kiss goodbye as an ordinary woman.

Omg, soo sad Mandi D: D: D: D: I'm going to cry when I see that episode, I just KNOW it. I love the dark colors and the clouds in this, and it looks like it could be an actually anime screen rather than a drawing.. it's that good. Or at least I think it is xD I'm not fond of Scriptina for the font though xD That's the only thing bothering me... such a sad sad sad scene :gonk:

Poor Kikyou. Poor Inuyasha :gonk: *sobs*
 
OMG that had so much emotion throughout the entire drawing. =0

I love how you added in little bits of what they were saying. It really added to the sadness of it all. >_<

The colours are gorgeous and the emotion you've captured in their faces is brilliant!

I really am looking forward to watching this series. I've decided to buy it for myself for Christmas if I can get a hold of it!
 
Thanks guys! This past week's episode was really good so be expecting some fanart from that too <.< Anyway today what I have for you is NOT fan art, but this is actually a Christmas gift art for two of my friends. The character in red is Lemia, the character in the middle is my Celeste and the character to the right is my other friend's OC Lily. We're all snuggling and enjoying the snow in our little fashionable winter coats! I was going to give this to them tomorrow but I can't stand it, so I'm giving it to them now that's why I'm posting it. :lew: Anyway, enjoy!

You've nailed the jackets, actually, they look like a jacket I have only not black...and for women so you've aced that. :D

Love the expressions too, they look like they're having great fun! Hair looks unreal as per. :ryan:

Ahhhh I love cell shadiong so much. It looks awesome, the detail as ever is spot on , and I love the expression on the dudes face. Great work :mokken:
 
Wow, that one of them in the snow looks absolutely fantastic!

You made them look so cosy and happy. =D

The coats are simply gorgeous!

The latest one has such brilliant detail in it! The colours are vibrant and the shadows on the sleeves and such are all done so well!

I'm going to JB Hi-Fi today to see if I can find the boxset for this series. It looks like it'd really be my type of anime. ^_^

Are you talking about the one above the newest one where Sessh is holding Rin? The newest one just below his is Sesshoumaru's mother.
