Which Malboro's from the FF games do you find the worst or the most diffulcult to beat?

Which did you find the weakest and not as good as the others?

Compare, Discuss, Explain.

The ones in FFXII were just a joke, they really were. When I first saw them in Golmore Jungle I thought "Oh shit!" and then killed them with ease :|

I really hated the ones in FFX, I think in the Omega Ruins, nasty buggers they were -__-

I do admit that going from bad ass Malboros in FFVIII and FFX then to FFXII where they are small and don't really do much, is kinda lame. haha. Their bad breath was okay but not up to par with the other games.

I'd give them a tie of FFVIII and FFX. They both were pretty bad ass.

I'm going to have to say X's were the worst as well. Their stupid poison breath hit me just about every time! At least in XII you could escape from it or heal it almost immediately. In X you just had to sit there and suffer through it.

Most of the time I got so fed up with them that I had one of Yuna's aeons take them out. It went faster, and I didn't have to sit their and get pwned >_<

It was really disappointing to have really powerful Malboros in FFX and then have to face the ones in FFXII. Although there were some Malboro-like creatures near the Pharos that were a challenge, they didn't inspire the fear in me that the ones in FFX did. They were great for experience though.

I've never fought any in FFVIII, but I've heard enough about them to know that they're horrible xD

FFXII Malboros were kinda tart once you got towards the Pharos. They used a level up from Bad Breath, cannot remember the name, but I think it caused you to have use cleanse on your characters to get the effect off. haha. It wasn't that bad unless it had gotten all your characters. =/. Which rarely ever happened.

The malboros in X are the best, they are just plain down intimidating and strong, their bad breath attack is awesome (to use against enemies as a blue magic of course...) But dear God what did they do to them in XII? :( They look silly with the crown they wear and are very small and weak as well.

VIII for me. They made drawing on the Island Closest to Heaven impossible for me until I had encounter none. >.<

The ones in X were comparable, but not quite as bad in my opinion.

I stopped playing FFVIII for months when I saw those Malboros. .___.

In FFX they were almost as worse as in FFVIII but in X there are a lot of solutions for them (First Strike then summoning. A lot of shields with proofs) but it was hard getting these in FFVIII.

Oh! By the way, on my first time playing FFVIII, I used a car to get out of Esthar to that station i forgot its name cause I couldnt beat these Malboros.

And the worst Malboros were in FFVII I think, I dont remember having any problem with them.

Im getting de-ja-vu >_>

Anyway, the marlboros in VIII Are by far the worst imo, I rarely ever beat them unlesss I was lucky enough for Odin to do them over. The ones in X werent particularily pleasant but even the ones in Omegas ruins werent as bad as thosre butt holes in VIII

The guys in XII were defo the esiest I dont think I was ever killed by one ever

8 malboros was easy for me coz i had lion hart b4 disk 3 and i gave siren brothers quezalquolt to squall i would say the ones in vii i beat sephiroth in 5 minutes and emerald weapon in 1/2 an hour but i kept getting killed by them (Thats without the gameshark)

It's probably down to the fact that they used Bad Breath less often and it had an area-effect, so you could dodge it by being behind, or even at a distance to, the Malboro.

I hated the ones in VIII because, unless you had multiple status defense junctions to be 100% immune to everything, you were stuffed and one of the only GF's who have the Abilityx4 ability was Doomtrain - the reason you'd be fighting a Malboro in the first place.

or you could have landed on the islands closest to heaven/hell accidentaly

i dont get why the ones from 8 were so bad!!!!

Mod Edit: In the future, please remember that double-posting is frowned upon. Thanks.

Yes, green annoyances they are...

I always rewind back to when I first discovered them in 8 and think what they're going to be like in the next title. That Bad Breath stinks!

i hated, no, i despised the malboros in FFVIII one swift hit then bad breath amean is their any need, a little breathing time would of been appreciated but noooooooo, pieces of crap.

Easiest: Malboros of all kind from FFIV.

I agree. I wasn't even the least intimidated by them and my party could beat them in less than 45 seconds.

Actually, now that I think about it...the malboros in Crisis Core were SUPER EASY! All you have to do is get behind him and slash slash slash! Most likely he won't even get a chance to turn around and attack you. I've done it where he wouldn't even land a testicle on me! xD Erm, or perform that stinky breath.
