No it's not too late if you can get someone to team up with you. Just remember to add plenty to HP, SPD and EVA/DEF. Don't focus on both DEF and EVA because you'd be wasting your points. It wouldn't hurt to increase your MAG DEF every now and then too, but bear in mind that it will also reduce the effects of healing.

And, once there are stat boosting spells, it should effect how much it boosts your stats too, if I'm not mistaken.

And Solidjuss, it is just a little slip up, probably not worth going through all that trouble of getting those level ups and Gil back again, I'd bite the bullet and push on, but you can reset if you think it is necessary, just stating my opinion on it.

Unfortunate that you spent 5+ attribute points on both DEF and EVA though...

It's sad indeed ... It was damn laggy when I wanted to add SPD, by mistake I added eva

Oh well, those eva have helped me a bit and I think 5 points isn't that big failure

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it too much, when it is possible for you to face monsters that are a lot higher in level that would allow you to level up a lot more, then once you have most of your stats up quite high, those 10 points on EVA will seem like nothing, other stats can still be raised efficiently.
