It's a good training copying other drawings and whatever until you get used to the shapes and memorise them on your own or even create new ones(meaning those you've never tried drawing before)

I do the exact same and I think it has helped me a lot to improve my skills.

I do this as well :P I have some pictures like the one i made of Jecht and Braska on my thread (Sephiroth's Brother Art thread)..

Nice work on the sigs i really like em :P keep up the good work fellow artist ^_^
 
YEAp you got the point I'm practicing to draw new characters because I want to bring them to life and new postions as well but I'm not sure about real pepole I can't draw them without see a pic ...hopefully one day I can make some pages from my own manga..
