So...out of interest...what do you guys think?

...
When characters get hurt enough, they suddenly get a surge of steroid-like energy called a limit break.

However...

they use it & suddenly explode in a flash of purple.

Doesn't anybody notice that?

Its the same with magic. Don't they wonder why those flashes appear?

Something tells me it isn't healthy.


I blame faulty materia.
 
Um Purple?

I thought the Limit break burst color was like fire yellow/orange
and that magic has a green aura? Enemy Skills have a red aura and the summon thing are those funky symbols.:hmmm:

And nah I dont really notice the colors around characters as they cast, execute a limit or summon I just view it as part of the game, Its called suspending your disbelief:lew:

I like to think that each colour represents a different emotion. When they flash red for summoning, they're burning with a newly found erotic passion that cannot be quelled by anything other than summoning a large beast to destroy their enemy. When they're green, they start to feel queasy and resort to throwing out unnatural forces such as environmental spells because they otherwise can't focus on hitting the for physically.

When they're purple, i.e. limit breaking it shows how frustrated they've become and go into a drunken rage of steroidal power, throwing everything they have into this one attack. They're so overcome with the constant bat-bat-bat by this enemy that they get engrossed in their own annoyance THAT THIS THING JUST WON'T DIE :rage:







































or it's all just a crazy flashy light show with firecrackers.

Okay, whatever XD Its been a while since I played the game, but regardless, why doesn't anybody else notice? I'm pretty sure that Tifa would break down should Cloud randomly just explode into those colours. Then Vincent does it & shes left sucking her thumb.
