For decades now, Jalaria Suburbs has been cursed by an evil witch named Alison, who condemned the small place and its frozen residents to be trapped forever in time after an immense fight between her and Rose in the depths of the Dark Forest
Rose, the elder of the town, has been happy to live in harmony with the others trapped within the suburbs. However, dark creatures summoned by Alison have recently begun to enter the town at night and gruesomely murder those outside. Ferocious banging and crashes have been heard upon the doors of those wise enough to stay indoors, and the night before this RP started, a house was broken into, and its residents have disappeared into the Dark Foest most likely.
Rose is unnerved by these new developments in her life and knows that there needs to be change, and fast, before everyone in the Suburbs is murdered. They need to escape. They need to be liberated, and there is only two ways out of this hell.
The Dark Forest, and death.

Panic etched into his features, a tall, dark skinned man was running along the darkened ground of the Dark Forest, dry leaves crunching under his feet, branches, brambles and thorns cutting painfully into the skin of his exposed arms, drawing thick scarlet blood that trickled down his arms. He shivered as an unnatural cold chilled his spine and legs, even though his torso and legs were wrapped in thick, warm clothes.
But he ignored all of this. Fear clouded all of that as he ran. His heart hammered on his chest like a fist as he travelled through the seemingly ceaseless darkness that simply went on and on. There was only one thought going through his head at that moment and would be the only thought in his mind until his objective, identical to his thought, was at last accomplished.
To escape through the Dark Forest.

In the shadows of a huge, gnarled tree, a creature lurked, its loud breathing drowned out by the falling feet of the running man. Its claws gripped the tree, raking away shreds of bark asit growled, invigorated by the prospect of the hunt, of the prey.

In Jalaria Suburbs, atop a large hill, an immense brass bell was ringing as Rose banged her staff upon it. It was the council house, and for anyone to sound it meant that they were calling a meeting of all the townspeople. It had to be urgent for such a summons.

A huge shape flew from the shadows, leaping at the man. He screamed as the shadowy shape struck him and he was knocked into a copse of bushes. For a moment, there was rustling, screaming, then silence.

Rose, talking to noone in particular, looked up at the sky, and spoke three simple words to herself.
"We need liberation."
