Legend of Dragoon - Should they make a sequel?

Now, when I played the original I loved it to pieces.
And I wasn't sure where to put this seeing as it's a pretty open opinionated subject with no specification to console. So i put it here, mods feel free to move at will..

Anyway back on topic.
I recently saw a petition online where hundreds and thousands of people have requested to make a Legend of Dragoon sequel.

Personally, I would love it.

Also yeah I would love to have this game remade, the original was less than striking but it had a truly epic story

I'd wonder if they would do the main cast, or an entirely different, maybe Dart's father?? I really think they should, I'd buy it

Darts father as a playable would be amazing!!

If they do take notice of the petition and do make a sequel i do hope they stick to main cast.
Because then I could use Meru again!!
