Leaked image: Campaign Code in FFXIII? Beta chance?!

Well friends, Final Fantasy XIII is now out in Japan, along with the much awaited campaign code to shed some light on the mystery mingling inside that luscious Lightning-colored packaging.

Amazon is the quickest way I'll be able to get my hands on FFXIII, so I may not have the sure thing to you as quickly as I'd like, but I stumbled across a leaked picture of what appears to be the campaign code packaged with FFXIII.

On the top is a URL to the FFXIV site with an FFXIII directory, but the URL currently redirects you to the main site. The main section is cut off at the edges and blurred in the center, but I'll sum up the paragraphs for you for what I'm pretty sure it says.

This campaign code is for use to claim a secret in-game item or a chance to enter the FFXIV beta test. Please keep it in a safe place and do not lose it.

Confirmed: This item has started showing up on Yahoo! Auctions. Also, there was a mistake in my translation (due to one crucial letter being cut off), and BOTH the beta chance and the item will be available using this code. Here's a shot from the auction.

I just can't wait till XIII comes out. I am new and all but, this will be one game I get to jump into and play. Then get to talk about the game and not be corrected or told a back story on any of the characters. I finally get to feel like I am a true fan. ^^

So there will be a beta chance in FFXIII as well as the mysterious in-game item. I'm glad that is cleared up. Thanks for the update, Ryan !

And my envy towards the Japanese just grows. FFXIII is out for them and now this pops up. If the Japanese players are able to access a beta- that's two birds with one stone for them.
