Anyone watch this? I've been going through the shows on Netflix and it's a decent show. I've seen it on TV before but never really watched it due to its sick nature. I like how smart of a show it is though.

I've been watching the show for a couple years now on t.v., and there's a channel that shows the older re-runs from the beginning. It's probably my favourite out of all the Law and Order shows. I'd like to think that I don't like it because I'm a sicko though 
I guess that I like the show because while there are consistent cast members, the show isn't about them per say, but about the cases they deal with each episode. A few times during the episode we get the detectives getting overwhelmed and emotional, but they get through it *shrugs*
Although, I think that the latest season has become more, I dunno, overly dramatic. More focus on the cast than the cases I think.
But whatever, I still like the show

My mom watches it every now and then. She got the 2nd season box set for Christmas and i snuck it into my room one day. I really enjoy it. I also enjoy the criminal intent series as well. But SVU, just has that feeling that does it for me. A really good series if any one is looking for a a good cop show.

I think it's alright. The acting is average, and it seems that there scared of Ice T being incredibley bad, because he is never on for more than 5 minutes. It's very formulaic, chase baddies for first half then interrogate + courtroom stuff for the second half.
However as I hate CSI with a passion it's the only thing on TV that has cops getting criminals, so I watch it because of the lack of alternatives.

One of the better Cop shows IMO. I think it is the best out of the Law and Order shows and it definitely shits all over CSI. If I'm in the mood to watch a show like this, SVU rarely disappoints. I generally find the cases pretty interesting, even though the cases are often the more disturbing in comparison to the other Law and Order shows.
