Hera shook his head as Hudson pointed to the downed Argexis. "Never. He is not dead yet; he hasn't lost all his blood, nor is his energy faded completely. I will never strike an opponent who is disabled so tremendously, not when they are down as he is."
Hera hesitated, but decided to say something else. "Argexis did not fall as Argexis, he has fallen as Sukani. It is likely to his chagrin that his defeat will have no bearing on the Abomination's death; Sukani's life does not depend on that of those he possesses. It is, of course, one foe down for us; Argexis will no longer hinder our attempt at keeping safety in the universe."
Hera turned and stared to the north-east. "I think we should go to the United Kingdom. Jake was unable to gain audience to the officials there, but perhaps I can. We need to rally support; I can't allow the Dragons to become extinct." It was a personal oath Hera had taken once Allsieda was destroyed: he would protect the Dragons at all costs.
Hera turned his gaze to the east. "We should head for the nearest coastal city. It would be little trouble for Jake and I to fly to the UK, but we now have an accomplice. Either way, I've never ridden a boat before. It'l be interesting." Jake chuckled at Hera's mock humour.
The two warriors took to the sky, Hera heading straight east. "Come on, Hudson!" Jake called, following his grandfather.
