La Guerre de Cent Ans
Strana Fantasia Reale
Story:
Erusea, a land that stands strong and powerful, with notions of courtly love that give rises to an era of nobility and chivalry. The legacy of the Charlemagne and Carolinians still resonate within nobles and commoners alike. It is a land of riches and is the true symbol of Christian might in the Usean Continent.
The lands of Western Usea are like those of Eastern Osea, divided by mistrust and centuries of violence, with new trade routes bringing warriors from faraway lands in search of land, glory and power, and the ideals of chivalry and honor are tested time and time again.
One such nation is the mighty United Kingdom of Emmeria, which despite the death of the original leader of the Kingdom in 34 SC, has managed to remain together. The King’s trusted son, young Aurelius IV of Gracemeria, now of age to rule in his father’s wake has come to claim such glory for his Kingdom.
In 12 SC, Aurelius’s father, Aurelius III of Gracemeria married a member of the House of Capet Isabella and bore his son, Aurelius of Alma. Capet, a royal Erusean family composed of a race native to the region, an elf-like race known as Elveans. Because of this marriage, it meant that any children that he would bore would not only become King of Emmeria but also King of Erusea as well.
Isabella’s father, King Valentin IV died 2 years later, leaving his three heirs to the throne of which all three of them died within 14 years after their father’s death. This gave Aurelius IV, now the King of Emmeria a chance to usurp his claim.
But the Erusean nobility balked in the idea of a foreign king, much less those from Emmeria. They believed, according to the Law of Saren concerning succession that royal inheritance should not pass through to a woman of the family or their children. The nobles wanted to put the most senior of the Capetians that follows these guidelines, Valentin of Valais.
The death of the father of modern Emmeria as well as the threat of losing his claim made Aurelius a bit unhinged, and secretly amassed a large army, led by the King himself to claim the throne.
And so, the War of the Erusean Succession, the Centennial War has begun…

The Factions:
House of Angevin-The United Kingdom of Emmeria:
A Kingdom of people from multiple backgrounds and races, united together at the end of the Emmerian Wars 4 years prior. However, with the death of the founder of this confederation of kingdoms, the legacy of the empire, as well as a desire to rule even greater, falls in the hands of the Half-Elvean King, Aurelius IV of Gracemeria
House of Valais-The Kingdom of Erusea
Considered to be the true successors to the House of Capetia, this house of Elvean Kings rules over Erusea, considered the most powerful of the Erusean Christian Kingdoms. The current ruler, King Valentin VI and the first Valaian King, seeks a united Erusea, free from foriegn influence, but to do so would mean that a war must be fought.
In addition, other factions would come to want to involve themselves in the war, it is up to you to decide whether you want to help one of the royal houses claim the Erusean throne. These houses will be revealed in time.....

The Map

Erusea is primarily furtile farmland and forests to the east and central portions of the country, to the northeast and southeast it is primarily mountainous (the large mountain pass between the two mountain ranges are more forests and farmland) and the northwest is dominated by rocky fjords. The cities labeled are the major cities in the Kingdom, with those underlined where court is held (aka the capital city). (Only the areas marked in orange and blue are available for traversing, please ignore the areas bordering it.)
