And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, see that ye be not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet-Matthew 24:6

Riding on horseback, Jean Montfort, the younger brother of the Duke of Rainer looked into the beaches of Northern Erusea, a series of wooden ships, some of them with reinforced undersides to traverse the cold seas of the Northern Ocean caught his view.

It had been 3 years since war was declared, and the Eruseans attempted to stop their ships earlier in a trap led by the Erusean Aegir Fleet and their few allies. But their destruction had led to supplies being rationed. The Emmerians didn't have enough ships to blockade but Montfort knew it was about to change soon. The knights of Erusea would meet these foriegn invaders in battle soon enough.

Jean went to warn King Valentin about the landing position. He was staying with the currently ailing Duke of Rainer and his niece, Jeanne.

Mary was on the boat looking out at the beach. As soon as their ships land, they were certain to meet the Erusean army on the field. She looked at the confidence of the Black Prince, known as such because of his Black Armor. He was half-elvean like his father, partly due to being the son of two half-elvean parents, but it doesn't diminish her liking of him, a fact that she kept to herself.

The ships would not land until later today, allowing the Emmerian knights to get supplies off their ships and camp for the night before advancing into battle.

Tamara walked throught the city grounds, feeling the cobblestones crunching under her feet and revelling in the fresh air that swept across her face and hair and the blue sky and sunlight that reflected off her face. It was going to be a beautiful day. The Prince's High Mage could sense it in her soul. It was a weird thing to think, admittedly, but it wasn't a bad form of thought to have.

It would be time to return to the palace soon. Tamara stretched as she looked around at the bustling crowd, buying stuff, talking happily. Was life within the Emmerian Empire, under the soon to be King fantastic? Yes.

OOC: Time to continue here...

IC: A few hours later, the Emmerian ships finally landed on the coastline. The Black Prince was the first to disembark, followed by Mary and Aurelius IV.

Neither Mary nor the Black Prince had ever been to Erusea before, Aurelius did when he met his grandfather. Now, Aurelius had come to take the Kingdom away from his half-cousin Valentin.

"My young girl." Aurelius said to Mary in a call tone.

"Yes, sire?" Mary kneeled down in his prescence, a staple of honoring thy king back in the day.

"I want you to go forth to Bordeu to deliver this to the Woodsman's Guild there." Aurelius handed her an official parchment with the seal of the Gracemerian King, (a united Emmerian Seal had not been made as of yet.) Mary took the message and bowed her head again, "As you wish, my liege."

Aurelius continued, "Hopefully I will see you before we meet the enemy in the field of battle."

With that, Mary got on to her horse and started galloping eastward to Bordeu, while the royal forces were preparing to head south towards Farbanti.
