Kiss Me

there is a little problem with 8 bits.....ugly and annowing black blocks appear on the screen( on FF8 and Baldur's Gate 2 to be honest). There is an alternative by playing on software rendering....but the graphics are even more uglyer...and laggy too for unknown reasons.>_<

I never had problems with those two games with the 'black blocks'

where you playing them on ps1 and 2 or on a pc?

lol, it was my first ff game that I played so I know it well

also, I am fighting dark elf from ff4 at the moment, has anyone played it?

ya, i played the super nintendo version of it... *its actually number 2 in super nintendo version and #6 is actually number 3 in super nintendo, lol* <---- i still get confused with that...

ya i think so... i know in the playstation its 4 and 6 and in super nintendo its 2 and 3...

*kisses ffguy

ps. i have to leave soon

Since you've asked I'm playing it on PC with an emulator. I do not own a Playstation( one or two) and I have to improvise.

ah, that would explain the problem, do you have a good graphic package? usually the package can be a problem with the games

Honestly I know what the problem is: an option called 8 bit paleted textures.....aparently the high-end graphics gards do not possees such an option since 2001+ games no longer use this option. And unfortunately I own a GeForce 8500GT....so no 8 bit paleted textures for me

PS: You were right....FF9 is a good game....I've just crashed with that ship in the forest. Nice game and outstanding cinematics.

battles are nice...I loved the minigame with Blanc(the sparring thing) to impress the audience. The areas are a bit repetitive right nowe....I mean the castle....but that doesn't bother me much.
