Kingdom Hearts series tops 14 million units shipped [5/18]

Square Enix today revealed that their popular RPG series, Kingdom Hearts, has shipped more than 14 million copies worldwide. The games feature an overarching story that also involves Disney and Final Fantasy characters. Here are the main Kingdom Hearts titles released so far:

Kingdom Hearts (Playstation 2)
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (Game Boy Advance)
Kingdom Hearts II (Playstation 2)
Kingdom Hearts Coded (Mobile)
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (Nintendo DS)

Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II were re-released with added content in Japan. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories was also remade on the Playstation 2 with 3D graphics and other extras.

The latest title in the series will be Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, which is slated for released on September 9th exclusively for the PSP.

Well, Kingdom Hearts is a good series if, I say so myself So, i'm glad that it's doing well.

Hurray for the Kingdom Hearts series! Even though I've only played (properly) the first game and that I'm not the series's biggest fan, I'm really happy for the franchise.

Who'd have thought back in 2002 that an action-RPG mixing Disney characters and Final Fantasy characters would turn out to be so popular and dominating? :dave:

I love the series myself, and each game I play, I get more and more attached to the story and characters xD

Seriously, to me, it's just made of win in so many aspects - gameplay, music, graphics, art, story, and characters...All that good stuff.

And I know if Square released the Final Mix+ versions of the game over here, even after the PS2 age has supposedly died, I would SO buy them *HINT HINT, S-E*
