Anyone into shooters I been waiting for this game since the E3 07 Trailer looking pretty good.Played the beta at one of my friends house don't know how he got in but yeah can't wait for it to come out.

This game looks awesome. Now that it's a multiplatform game, I'll definitely be picking it up when it comes to the 360. The game looks beautiful, surreal, and definitely has a unique style to it. I'll play through the main campaign but if I get it, it'll be for multiplayer. I can see myself getting very good at this game.

Well if it's as good as the first one, i can't wait to see the second one. The graphics should be much better and there should be a broader weapon selection. I hope they still keep a few of the old weapons because i liked some of them. I'll definitely be picking this game up for my PS3. The storymode was fairly well done and the first one as well and i hope they have something similar for the new one. Perhaps some of the same levels as well.

I am probably going to get this game because I played some of the previous ones and they were pretty good. The gameplay of Killzone 2 looks awesome and I look forward to trying it out. Will this game only be on ps3? Or will it be for 360 also. I have both but I like to do acheivements.

I've seen it multiple places listed as multiplatform, for both PS3 and 360... but whenever I try to confirm it all I see is articles about how it can't go the 360 because it was built specifically for a blu-ray player. I can't imagine they couldn't port it though.

Ya the first Killzone was specifically for the Ps2 only. I was thinking that the 2nd one would be for PS3 only. I believe that they originally wanted it for only PS3 if i recall at the E3 07. But i would have to look into it.

I still think it's PS3 exclusive, it won't be anything to do with blu-ray because all that really offers is more space, which means they could use multiple disks for a 360 version. It'll be the fact that the PS3 is a more powerful system in terms of hardware and making it mulitplatform will limit how much they can do with it.

I remember the reason they gave for it coming out on multiple systems was Sony's inability to move consoles. Guerrilla, the company that makes Killzone games, is owned directly by Sony. But since Sony is cutting like a quarter of their gaming division... I think they said they were going to try and move it to the 360 even if it had to be on 2 discs.

I have never once heard it being multiplatform. In fact, last update they had on it (two months ago in November) it was basically them priding themselves on being a ps3 exclusive and not crossing over like other brands are now days.

I won't believe these random rumors (because they happen with every game like this) until I hear it from the horses mouth. Any link to something that confirms otherwise?

'Is this Real or Is This the Power of PlayStation 3?"

When this game gets released, I don't even have to worry about console graphics anymore.
Its the filters & layers that they used, which to me, is very smart thing to do.
As with hollywood cgi, they finalise it by rendering with blur motion, anti-aliasing, global illumination & ray-tracing,
all of these rendering magics have been put in the game.
So there you go, how much better can it look (laugh).

Besides, when Polyphony Digital launched their third Gran Turismo series on PlayStation 2, it went on to become a 11 million seller due to the bar it raised in graphics and also gameplay too. That was a starter for the PS2.
Killzone 2... well be the starter of the PS3.
And then we'll see what comes after that.

I hope you all look forward to this long-awaited FPS on PS3.
I can't believe its coming out so soon.

I've seen from a few websites pertaining to Gaming News that this was intended to be Sony exclusive, but is going to come out for the Xbox as well when the time comes.

I played the first one through on the PS2 and it was pretty good. I loved the multi-player aspect of it too that I played with a buddy of mine for months after we beat the Campaign mode of the game.

I hate people who say that Killzone 2 will be the starter for the PS3. In all honesty, it was MSG4 that brought most of the essence of the PS3's graphical prowess in console gaming. I mean honestly, MSG4 is a work of art, no joke. Sure, KZ2 might be better as far as rendering goes, but it'll never combine a great story and art form into one.

Just out of curiosity, anyone played the demo yet and know what it's like? It comes out in like 12 days or so and I still haven't managed to play the demo. :'(

Anyone got it yet?

I bought it on Saturday, and am loving it. The online play works really well, and the campaign is pretty intense at times. Worth the money, and the graphics are great. :)

I heard Kllzone 2 is a good shooter. Its great but I am not sure if I want it. I heard there are some sick guns in that game. I would like to see a review of this game i n order to tell me yes or not to get it.

Bleh reading this irritated me a bit tbh. MGS4 was by far the PS3 big game that breathed life into the system.
Killzone's graphics are good but it still isn't as good as MGS4s.

With that said I still like this game. It is a step in the a good direction, shooter wise. It isn't your typical run and gun FPS that we've been getting a lot of recently. This one you actually have to take cover and use your head. Weeds out those that want a faster paced game online.

i agree killzone 2 has nothing on MGs4 bu tthe Game is awesome despite this setback also the Ai for the helghast is pretty intelligent but isa partners not so much :(

Toobad on killzone 2 you cant do that gay cod stuff by that i mean people jumping and shooting and well camping doesnt help much atleast for me.The online is great i still havent gotten the sniper rifle. As for MGS4 i cant say much since im not really into those kind of games i played MGS2 but i couldnt get into it im just a FPS guy.
