But It was brought up that we had one once upon the time.... Heres my Suggestion we should bring it back It should play final fantasy Music... LEt me know what you think...

THANKS

If it could work, then that might be quite a good idea... So long as it didn't cause heck loads of lag... And providing you can mute the site or turn the music off if you didn't want it on.

I tend to like to listen to music whenever I'm on my computer at night, and tend to do this forum at the same time.. So I would much prefer a mute option so that I could hear my music play without the chocobo theme, awesome though it is, cutting in over the top.

We had it once before and it was a complete failure. The previous owner, Darkblade, had the site suspended for a short while because he uploaded Final Fantasy soundtracks and infringed some form of copyright. Additionally, there were far too many technical glitches for it to be worthwhile. Even when it was working, briefly, no one ever used it. Most people will be using Media Player, Real Player, iTunes and suchlike, anyway, so it's not much of a popular addition to the site.

Thanks for the suggestion, though. If enough members feel strongly about its reinstallation, then, I daresay we'll look into putting it back on the site. We are, however, lacking a technical administrator at the present time and no one would have the skills to add it to the site, so, if we decided to reinstall it

I can't say that this idea appeals to me that much, I usually have itunes open anyway (which happens to have some FF music) so it wouldn't really be that much of a change for me.

Yeah, I remember when we had one. I looked at it once, but I really didn't care too much for it. It's a good suggestion, though.

I remember that Firefox didn't like it at all. I had to get around 5 addons for it to even start but the quality was bad with it too.
