Joker vs Joker (Nicholson & Ledger)

I think they both portrayed The Joker equally as brilliant, but Heath was just a bit more up there for me.

I agree that Heath had a more sinister side to him and felt a bit darker with his jokes and such. Jack was still very scary to me, though he did seem a tad bit lighter when it came to being scary. >.<

i think the first joker was more funny but the second one had a more action look,
thats what i loved about him longer hair and the look in his eyes is just a bit more scarry then the first joker.

Anyway i enjoyed both movies, But my vote goes to New Joker,

Peace

I prefer Ledger to be honest. I do like Nicholson, but Ledger was more darker and twisted. If anything, he made The Dark Knight more enjoyable for me with his approach to the Joker.

They are both great in their own way. I think both had a certain style and both were great to watch. Nicholson was more like the comic book and Ledger was more like how I would have pictured the Joker if he were... well... I dunno, real?

Its hard to explain. But I respect both of them. It would have been boring if Ledger tried to act like Nicholson's joker. I love how he threw in his own twist and it was really good. Gave the both of them something different and enjoyable. ^^

Can I choose Mark Hamill instead? :P I know he never played the Joker in a live action movie, but I grew up watching Batman: The Animated Series, so he'll always be the Joker to me.

Out of Ledger and Nicholson though, I prefer Nicholson. Ledger was great too and it was certainly a fresh take on the character, but overall I prefer Nicholson's more traditional approach.
