Whenever I think about this guy,or see and talk to him,I always laugh for some reason.Anyway...has everyone forgotten about him or something? I mean,I just remembered him so I think most would've forgotten.He's the one with the red hair and black outfit who you first meet in Sector 7 who has had some sort of relationship with Tifa.If anyone knows or remembers,were he and Tifa really a couple? How did he know Cloud? I think he might've mistaken Cloud for Zack,though...anyway,does anyone know the story behind Johnny or remember him?

johnny...hmm, doesn't seem to ring a bell. did you have to meet him in order to continue with the story or was he just a random NPC?
 
Johnny Johnny...hmm, was he the one who wrote Tifa a letter? The letter which you can find on Tifa's desk...?

And as far as I know, Tifa never had a boyfriend...at least it never officially stated that she did anyway. The game hinted that she was friends with a bunch of boys back in the days, but that was it.

Johnny's not an important character, in my opinion. =/
 
Oh alright, yeah I remember him now. But I honestly didn't give anymore lingering thoughts about him after. I don't know, he was just an NPC to me. I noticed that some of the NPC knew some of the characters one way or another, so it was really no biggie. He had no backstory, whatsoever.

Lol like you said, that's all I remember about Johnny boy as well.
 
Oh I remember him. It's weird since you would think that throwing him in there is just too random, you would think there woud be a bigger part to it or something, but since barely ever does anyone give him a thought, he really plays no role in the game at all.
 
I remember him. I used to make it a point to harass him when I was in sector 7.;) I don't think he was Tifa's boyfriend though. He just had a crush on her.
 
I clearly remember him because of the letter he sent Tifa. He's also outside the Honey Bee Inn too.
 
Yeah i remember him, he always refers to cloud as 'tifas childhood friend' and you encounter him afew times in the story, I think it's just there for our amusement, Aeris gives him a flower and 1 gil at the honey bee in and you see him at costa del sol aswel. His mum & dad live in sector 7 and they tell you he's off travelling or something. I think he may have just fancied her and thats about it!
 
well i THINK it was him at the honeybee inn....? now i'm not so sure ha ha
 
I'm pretty sure it was him at the honeybee inn also. He was hanging around outside. I remember she charged him a lot for the flower too (well a lot more than the 1 gil she charged cloud anyway).
 
Yeah, yeah, he was the one who sent the letter. Oh, I remember, he wants to go inside the Honey Bee Inn, right.. or not. He wants to see Tifa.. I think. He told his parents that he's working in ShinRa Co., but he wasn't. Liar. I remember in the letter, he also talked about Cloud, about him joining SOLDIER.

i sorta remember him, not the biggest part of the story, but he's important you know.
haven't you ever thought it was odd, you know, how in some games the only people that know the main line up are bad guys and story plot people >_>
it's nice to just run into an old friend, cause, you know, if you were walking around trying to save a small little planet, you're bound to run into old friends, right?
either way, wasn't he one of the kids they hung out with when they were young and what not? i could be wrong, haven't dusted off my psx in a good while, work and all
