Just asking your opinions: who do you think is the coolest of the three? Jecht, Seymour, or Auron? If you want to rate the three characters, rate them from 1st to 3rd. More importantly, your reasons please......

Hmm...it depends on what you truly mean by 'cool'. Replaying the game again after a good few years, Ive started to see these characters in a different light.
If I were to rate them in any particular order, it would be:
1 - Auron
2 - Jecht
3 - Seymour
For a more detailed rating...
Auron 'seems' to be 'cool' He may give off a mature and contemplative attitude, but he is a dark contrast with the rest of the gang and he sure needs to lighten up. Granted he has his issues,
but it doesnt hurt to smile once in a while! BUT aside from that, Yes, he is pretty damn awesome. Although he isnt the strongest character in MY game (Im just past Via Purifico) he has some solid skills. Plus his costume is pure win! But for me, its the fact that Auron puts up with all the crap along the journey, even if he isnt feeling it. After all

P.S. I apologise for the long post, but as Im currently playing FFX, I thought a slightly detailed opinion on each would be essential for the topic at hand. Oh, and I hope I used the spoiler feature effectively!

I'm definitely sticking with the same order:
Auron
Jecht
Seymour
Auron is just a good ole B.A. ( and I don't mean bachelors of arts of course). He is very serious most of the time which in fact helps the gang throughout the game because the rest of them are bit more nonchalant. He's smart, strong, and actually pretty amusing character. I always have him in my party because he's so strong.
As for Jecht he is just hilarious. The things he says, the things that he does, etc. The best part was the part when

As for Seymour. He's got great magic and that's about it. I don't think he's that cool to be honest.

Auron is definately the coolest out of the three, so calm and composed even in battle as well as the story......He is a man of a few words and I love it when he knows something's gonna happen
I also loves the secrets he keeps like

The first two are tough for me, because it depends on the definition of cool 
But I suppose I'll rank them this way:
1) Auron--because I seem to gravitate towards him the most out of the three. If you consider the entirety of his story, including
he does seem more like a knowledgeable, responsible guide than a dynamic main character; however, I really like that sort of personality, and especially when it's done with style 
2) Jecht--He was actually one of my favorite characters in the game. Even though he was a total jerk in the beginning, he also had a sentimental side, and it was really emotional to see that come out on the rare occasions that it did. It even seemed like he might have matured somewhat during his

Auron is the coolest, Seymour isn't cool at all, he's more like... quirky? Jecht is just annoying ot me, I don't find him cool... he's just a shit dad.
Auron has a badass voice, he's very cool, calm and collected, he has a baddass sword and just an allround cool personality... don't like his weird hippy glasses though

Jecht- He can play a fierce game of blitzball,hes a relentless fighter,and he's got a better rep than seymore

Auron and Jecht felt rather forced, in my opinion. I much preferred Seymour as he was unusual, yet charming in a sinister/creepy way.
Jecht - Blitzball Pro, Final Aeon and an asshole all rolled in on, what more can you ask for?
Auron - Can pretty much OHKO! anything in the game (save for Penence and some Arena monsters). He saves my ass so many times throughout the storyline. I also like how he doesn't say alot but when he does say something it's something to shut everyone up to get moving to the next area.
Seymour - He has pretty good spells but he's an asshole and appears in the most annoying places to battle. The first battles the most annoying, Hate tryna kill those Guado guards.. fkn Auto-potion.

- Jecht - to be honest, he's one of the main reasons why i would replay the game. wasn't that i found him cool per say, just found him a bit more interesting then the other two.
- Auron - wasn't really my favorite character. probably my least favorite from the entire party, but............. at least he wasn't a creep.
- Seymour - creep.
1. Auron- I mean... really, no competition. He is mostly calm. He is pretty smart, always has a sarcastic comment at the ready. His fighting style is just cool. I feel bad for him though. People think his arm is f-ed up, when in fact he is just totally relaxing.

I would have to vote Jecht. He's always been awesome to me. I didn't really like Seymour and Auron was okay, I suppose. But Jecht's character was one I haven't seen a lot in games, so he won me over xD
