I've just realised something...

Probably because they want 'unique' names. By unique I mean screaming out random names for the characters in their office...

"CAIT SITH!"
"Uhmm...ULTIMACIA!"
"What about...ZORN AND THORN?!?!?"
"LIIIIGHTNIIING!"

Seriously, the only 'normal' names are Yuna, Cid, Beatrix, Terra, Locke, and Seymour. There may be some other ones that I missed.

On another note, I don't get overrun by Daves, I just meet a bunch of Erins. :gasp:
 
The main character in 'Project Dave: Final Fantasy VII' will be called Dave. Apparently theres a scene with Genesis and Dave that gets slightly erotic.
