I was just curious to see at what time other's have beat this game. Why? 'Cause my hour count is near 138 and I still haven't finished. I'm like 20 LVLs higher than I should be, and I just find it too fun running around, killing anything in my path. ^^

Huh. Long game. That's the same thing for me. All of my... what are they called... those bounty things... anyway, are incomplete. My job board is almost complete though. XD

I currently after Giruvegen... at that tower place. I don't really think I'm even NEAR being finished...

Well it would have been a joke to beat this game in under 50, but I took my precious time getting all the goodies from the sidequests. I did all the Marks and didn't do the optional end boss.. because I hate playing one boss for more than 10 minutes in any game .. MMORPG or RPG.

So there you go.

I haven't really paid any attention to them... OR the marks. My friend Wade beat that guy. Said it takes like, 3 or 4 hours. O_O

I TOTALLY agree with you. This is the only game really that I have found where you can take you sweet-ass time just dinking around having fun, and not really get bored. It's awesome.

Im at about 93 hours, and vaan is like 57 while all my others r @ 53. but i also am doing the hunts and side quests

The first time I played the game, I finished at 91 hours and did most of the hunt marks.
Right now, I'm replaying and trying to get a more "perfect" game. I am progressing way faster than the first time around. My old save files which I saved right before fighting Daedalus at Giruvegan is at 67 hour mark with Clan Rank "Riskbreaker", while the current playthough I'm already going to Pharos and the clan rank is "High Guardian" and characters' level are higher and it's at the 48 hour mark. I'll update this post as soon as I finished the "perfect" game.

I finished it at around 140 hours, I would genuinely be surprised if anyone finished it in under 100 hours and did everything without knowing the game like the back of their hand. Grinding took up a fair amount of time, I think I grinded for about 8 hours before I beat the Elder Wyrm and even then I found out I was well over leveled by that point I did finish it 100% though, had I done, I reckon I'd have been in the region of 160-200 hours.

im slowly trying to get all the hunts done, but i opened the chests w/ the zodiac spear (oh well) and rite now im at about 97ish hrs and im at the point where i just beat dr. cid the frist time (and i know i alrdy posted in this thread)

Right now, i am at over 100 hours and below your level. I think as long as you have the right spells (esunaga and protega) you should be more then fine. Try the gilgamesh hunt if you want and rob those sexcellent genji stuff from him

I finished this game at around 80 hours of play time but last time i checked my save file for FF12 is had around 200 hours of gameplay i almost had anything in the game all sidequest and rare items and weapons but, then my memory card stopped working and i was so mad.

Yeah, I did the same thing with the spear. I opened all of them EXCEPT for the ones on Phon Coast. However, my dick of a friend thinks this is only romur, and not fact...

Ya i just kinda gave up once i got to the phon coast. but i spend hours getting my characters over-levled, so now im at 110 hours

heh heh. it seems a lot of people gave up near the same point! im JUST after phon coast. I can finally start playing again. I lent my PS2 out to a friend for like 2 months. (she hadnt played Kingdom Hearts yet...)

Yeah, there most likely IS another for Yazmat (or however you spell it...). Currently, I'm at the Lighthouse. I can't remember what it's called, or any of my fighters levels, but I DO know that I use Vaan, Fran, and Ashe. I'm currently around 136 hours. ^^

Oh, and like 40 levels higher than I should be (everything is instant kill...)(making the game boring...).

This post encourages me to buy another memory card and create a copy of every saved data I have on my memory card. That sucks. It must've been a very traumatic experience. I wouldn't be able to play the game ever again. If only PS2 comes with backup and restore...

I've had that problem too, (though not my doing) where my youngest sister took one of my memory cards and wiped the data on it (my FF12 file where I had everything but a select few hunts)I am yet to gain the will to pick the game up and regain the data (as well as every other file on my memory card)
