When it was on, what did you think?

I loved it. One of the first anime I wathced, liked and knew it was anime way back around like...2002 or 3.

And just because I want to, I'm posting one of my favorite parts with one of my favorite characters in the series.
(just try and ignore the flashing words)

I feel no shame in thinking that was a girl at first.

 I can't see this on my PSP

I enjoyed the whole series, except for the season with the Band of Seven. I loved it so much that I hope one day make an action RPG game out of it (when i become a game programmer) Expect it in about 7 years.

lol The scene is from the Band of Seven Arc.
I guess your PSP is protecting you. :)

Though I liked the arc.

I didn't like it.

I have never, ever, seen an anime over 60 episodes, that was ever worth watching.

Because anything over 50 episodes, and sometimes even animes with less than that, are filled with filler, and filler just kills a series for me.

I don't hate it per se, but I don't like it either. It doesn't annoy me if someone wants to watch it, but I don't find it entertaining enough to want to watch it.

I watched InuYasha when it came on YTV in English. I did enjoy it, although there was some stuff that bothered me:

Why does Inu Yasha have to love Kagome (spelling?)?. He obviously loves Kikiyo, and just because Kagome falls in love with Inu Yasha, EVERYONE expects him to love her and ONLY her. That was bull. And it was so unfair that he gets smashed into the ground when she's going PMS *shakes head*

And the show ended without any resolution. Naraku is STILL at large, and it ends with the gang continuing the journey. It's pretty open to sequels you know.

Didn't conclude in a movie? A lot of anime seem to do that.

Oh, and yes, you spelled Kagome correctly. And I want Kirara...

I fist saw the anime when they air it in Mexico by CN. Since then i really like it for a long time; but then the show just starts filling with non-sense chapters, so i stop watching it.

Now i read the manga; and still like it but not as i used to at the beginning.

I liked it for about the first fifty episodes... then it just seemed like it dragged on and on. And there are so many boring fillers. The only time it really gets interesting is when it gets back to the main story.

Don't feel bad... I thought so to. I was soooo confused when I found out he liked Inuyasha. XD

Sigh, that is one thing that bothers me. Naraku is ALWAYS THEEEERE. And I like Inuyasha with Kikyo over Kagome.

Yus, tons and tons of fillers... really annoying. I used to stay up on school nights just to watch it... but I just.... quit. I couldn't keep up with all that stuff, and I got bored of Naraku. He just... never gets beat. You think he'd eventually die.

And you guys would not believe how happy I was when an Inuyasha movie came out with Sesshomaru! He didn't just appear for like, three seconds, and was never seen again! WOOOOO!

You took the words out of my mouth. =] Fullmetal Alchemist is the longest anime I've seen and enjoyed.
InuYasha has some good characters, and an alright basic story, but there are so many fillers. It becomes a bore.

That was a dude? I did't like inuyasha it lasted to damn long it got boring cause inuyasha had the same move and when got a new move it was pretty much played out.

In the manga, he has like a ton of moves now. Powerups galore for his sword. It seems like all the heroes have all their power in their weapons and without, they are totally screwed.
Well, not literally. Inuyasha and Kagome still have their personal demon/spiritual powers but against a big bad villain without the sword or arrows, they'd be toast.

And yes, Jakotsu (guy in vid) is a man. People blast the dub in English for him being feminine...of course the Japanophiles don't mention he's voiced by a woman iN Japanese as well ans has a very feminine voice there too.
In any language it's possible to mistake Jakots for a female.

As much as I hate to do this, I'm going to have to disagree with you on that. I own the Inuyasha Profiles so I do know what I'm talking about when I say, Inuyasha loves both women and always will. He has feelings for both and throughout the anime (which might have fillers but is the exact same story as the manga) Inuyasha makes it obvious that he loves Kagome, otherwise he wouldn't constantly put himself in danger to protect her. Also, Kikyou is but a dead woman. The only thing she wished in the beginning was take Inuyasha to Hell with her. Kikyou does harbor feelings for Inuyasha that could not yet be called love. Kikyou is the 1st woman that Inuyasha ever loved, and just because that's true doesn't mean he can't give his heart to another woman. That is an exact quote from Rumiko Takahashi's Inuyasha Profiles. In the anime, Kagome is worse with her 'sit' commands, than she is in the manga. That's just only for the added humor affect of the show. Now, if you've read the manga and have read past chapter 465, then you would understand more about the InuyashaxKagome vs InuyashaxKikyou relationship.
Kikyou finally allowed herself to fullfill her final duty and finally passed away. It was all thanks to Kagome that her soul was set free and finally saved. Now Kikyou can rest in peace and not have to worry about fighting anymore.

And the show ended without any resolution. Naraku is STILL at large, and it ends with the gang continuing the journey. It's pretty open to sequels you know.
The only reason the show ended was because it was getting entirely too ahead of the manga and they kept having to throw in fillers. Hence that InuyashaxKikyou episode about their past. None of that is canon except for what you've read in the manga or seen previous before they started to get too ahead in the anime. The original creator of the anime has stated at a convention, according to Urd-Chan from the adinuyasha Yahoo group (and she was there herself to witness this and speak to the creator) there are plans for more anime once the manga is complete. If you really want to know what further happens, I suggest you read the manga from chapter 356 on up. The manga is still going but it's VERY close to an end. So far there are 551 chapters.
