{Interest} "Final Fantasy 0" & "The Final Fantasy" [Unofficial/Working Titles]

Okay, first off, this "interest check" is for two different role play ideas. Secondly, the titles are not final. (They're lame, honestly.) Lastly, I'm trying to tie them in with the whole of the FF universe; it's a pain. Let me explain why.


Final Fantasy 0 will explain how the "universe" was created, on the first "world" of the universe. (Follow?) This first "world" is pivotal to the balance of the entire "universe" and the "worlds" yet to come.

  • The Legend of the Crystals will originate.
  • The Warriors of Light legend will originate, in a sense.
  • The era of the "world" will be very medieval.
  • Chaos is one of the crucial plot points.
  • ... and more stuff I can't think of at the moment.
The Final Fantasy focuses on the same world, following the events of the other "worlds."

  • The concept of "the end" is the focus of this title. Will the "universe" end? Does it need to be rebalanced? Does it need to be cleansed?
  • The era will be pretty modern, but will dabble on futuristic.
  • Chaos is still one of the main plot points.
  • ... more coming, I'm sure.

"Final Fantasy 0"

  • Likely Title: Exsilio Final Fantasy / Final Fantasy Exsilio
  • Era/Setting: Medieval, Swords and Magic
  • Emphases/Concepts: Crystal Mythos, Chaos, Balance, "Warriors of Light"
  • Basic Premise: A tale of magic, revolution, hope, and understanding the natural balance of all.

"The Final Fantasy"

  • Likely Title: Decedum Final Fantasy / Final Fantasy Decedum
    • "Decedum" is derived from the Latin word decedo, meaning: depart, retire, die, disappear, cede, cease
  • Era/Setting: Modern (dabbling in Futuristic), "Magic and Tech"
  • Emphases/Concepts: Crystal Mythos, End, Balance, Dissent, Chaos
  • Basic Premise: A dark, gritty tale of war, bedlam, sacrifice, and protecting the natural balance of all.

The prefix for the role plays will be Fabula Crystallus Caelum (or "Tales of the Crystal Sky"). I felt it's fitting, since most of the series refers to the Crystal in some fashion, and "sky" could be considered the heavens above/the universe/worlds beyond/etc. (By the way, "Caelum" is a purposeful reference to Versus XIII's Noctis. :lew:) The actual titles of the role plays are still in progress, but candidates are below.

- "Final Fantasy 0": The Fantasy's Birth, Phantasia Creaturum, Exsilio Final Fantasy / Final Fantasy Exsilio

- "The Final Fantasy": The Fantasy's End, Phantasia Exitum, Decedum Final Fantasy / Final Fantasy Decedum

Although, I think I'm somewhat notorious for not replying very much now.XD
 
The first post is updated. I'll try to get you all daily updates, up until I can get this project going.
 
Another small update for today. Hopefully I'll have set titles within the next day, along with some of the "meat" of the stories.
