see points above. also i dont claim to be a leet professional, its just very easy to spot people who dont have a clue what theyre talking about. as for my "complacency", i come here for a laugh, not so that i can make the world a better place. if youre a professional "website coder and videos game designer" you wont have time to argue with someone as pathetic as me :sad3: you better run along now, check that your code's valid, squire.

your brand of shooting down my suggestions is arguing that suggestions as a whole are a bad thing. you've never made one legitimate complaint or one meaningful comment about any of my threads. I've asked you time and time again to explain what is so bad with fixing the obviously broken site skin or blatant glitches and imbalances in the RPG system (many of which have been fixed thanks to my efforts). my obvious conclusion is not that you have some secret alternative plot that would lead the forum into an oasis of enlightenment, but that you're too ignorant to say anything of relevance outside of the spam board

my brand of shooting down is just giving the facts, bro. hardly anyone gives a shit about the rpg, or the forum skin. personally i take no notice of it whatsoever and youre the only one that seems to complain about them. its not remotely helpful. and congrats on the rpg stuff, but im afraid that doesnt make you a professional "website coder" or a "video game designer".

you claim to be a "website coder" :lew: and yet all you do is make suggestions. where are the solutions? tell people how they could sort these problems that you go looking for and they might just do it. assuming you have any idea how to.

y'know. make a real contribution to the site. i do it all the time.

While this may have been helpful when most people were still using 12 inch screens, these fixed width skins are now an unnecessary relic of the past. The current posting section is fixed at exactly 870 pixels, which takes up about half of my screen. The culprit is the CSS for the <div> class "side_borders", which is set to "width: 870px". Changing it to "width: 100%" (and maybe centering the top logo) should fix the problem.

in case this wasn't clear to you, I'll try explaining it another way:

1. open up vbulletin templates in the admin acp

2. look at the CSS

3. search for any and all instances of "width: 870px", change them all to "width: 100%"

I always give a detailed solution to problems in every suggestion thread I post in. People choosing not to act on them is why they don't always get done.

that particular "suggestion" is exempt, because its really not a problem. the majority of the people who use the site dont have super massive screen resolutions (as you were already told), and it wouldnt take a professional "website coder" to solve that issue anyway. way to go, pro.

i post. i find that contribution enough. ive had the pleasure of testing the prison, and im currently testing out the shoutbox banning system. obviously a man as important and professional as yourself doesnt see this as enough to count? though it would seem i get along with a lot more people than you do so that kinda says something :hmmm:

notice im not the one getting all hostile and defensive. its quite a common reaction with bullshitters, prince charming.:inlove:
