The Vinierno Family:
The Vinierno Family Legacy can be traced back to the Fourth Usean Crusade, and the only Crusade against the Byzantine Ugellan Empire. Originally a Half-Human Hybrid Family of Humans and Felidians, they reclaimed their Felidian blood through marriage. Today it would be hard to tell that they were human. Descended from the Hashashin’s of Arab Amber, as well as Christian Knights, the Vinierno shows the skills and even ruthlessness of the Assassin’s. This, combined with their cunning and roguish attitudes, makes them perfect thieves as well.

Velia is a cunning Assassin and excellent merchant. Her family’s alliance with the Idoni Banking Clan of Orizzonte stemmed from when she saved a young Damon d’Idoni from drowning in the river, coupled with assisting their allies, the Duchy of Mediolania with goods to use against the Most Serene republic of Eraclea.
Velia is a passionate woman and a caterer of the arts. She is dedicated to her duty to fund goods for the sick and downtrodden of the city of Orizzonte. However, true to her name, she is very secretive of her life as an Assassin, the only person knowing of her secret life being her husband, Giovanni.
Velia is 5’5” and has a skinny, flexible build. Due to her being a Felidian, and thus does not age as fast as Humans after Puberty, she looks just as young as she was in her late teenage years. Velia has brown hair and blue eyes. She also has a light brownish fur and a tail, the latter being trademarks of the Felidian Race. Velia typically wears dresses that highlights the nobility of its day, despite Orizzonte being a Republic (albeit one by name). When she is on mission, she wears specialized Assassins Clothing and Gear. Velia is skilled in combat with multiple weapons and fighting styles. She carries a sword, a dagger, throwing knives and blades hidden in her wrists.
-Giovanni Vinierno
Age: 42 (17 Felidian Years)

Job Class: Arithmetician/Scholar
Giovanni is Velia’s fourth cousin and wife. He works as head of the sub-branch of the Idoni Banking Clan in Orizzonte. He also works as a successful lawyer and is fond of the ideals of the Ratian Renaissance that dominated the East Osean Continent of the day.
Giovanni is an understanding man, and a stern father, while he does his best to raise his children right. He is always proud of them and sees that they have their independence.
Giovanni is 5’7” and weighs 175 lbs. His attire is those of Orizzontine Nobles, wearing fancy shirts with frilly sleeves and fancy long red jackets. He has short brown hair for a Felidian male and also has red eyes. Although he is not as physically foreboding as most men, Giovanni is fully capable of fighting with his Walking Staff. Giovanni was given some additional training from his wife and is capable of fighting with daggers, but his greatest strength is his mastery over magic.

Virginia is a carefree Felidian who believes in looking out for herself and her friends. Virginia does care for her friends, and sometimes would do what she can to help them in any situation. She is very flirtatious for a Female, and can be sometimes tomboyish, like her mother when she was younger.
Virginia is 5'4" and weighs 130 lbs. She has short brown hair and brown eyes. She has light brown fur with some darker brown streaks covering parts of her face and tail.Virginia wears a green no sleeve jacket, with only a white bra underneath. She does wear green and brown elbow pads and leather gauntlets. Virginia wears a green leather pants with 4 pouches, 2 on each side, for items and materials. She also wears brown leather shoes made from the finest shoe maker in all of Ratio.
-Fiorenza Vinierno

Virginia’s younger Sister of 15 years, Fiorenza like her siblings, was spoiled as children, though this child was clearly seen as such. She has a mean streak and has trouble with others, which was evident when beating up a girl just for looking at her boyfriend. Her spoiled attitude is very much evident when Giovanni raised her dowry by 1500 florins because of her suitors being scared off.
Fiorenza is 4’11”, has long brown hair and blue eyes like her mother. Like her family, she has light brown fur with darker brown streaks covering parts of her face and tail. Unlike the tomboyish Virginia, Fiorenza wears dresses like her mother in public, her favorite dress being in yellow. Also unlike many of the family, Fiorenza has little skill in combat.
-Federico Vinierno

Job Class: Monk
The eldest child of the Venierno family, Federico has learned much of his father’s trade in banking. Virginia sees herself as a rival to him, and usually challenges him to races and fighting and the like. While Virginia is more of the arrogant type, Federico is flirty yet collected. He can be a bit of a slacker though sometimes, as he was removed from the banks payroll when he was working for an Idoni bank. He shows just as much charisma and enjoys as much popularity as his younger sister.
Federico is 5’6” and weighs 155 lbs. He has short brown hair and brown eyes, light brown fur with dark brown streaks on his face and tail. He is a capable fist fighter, and uses his skills usually to help bail her sister out of trouble. Like his father, Federico wears traditionally noble clothes, with fancy shirts and pants and red jackets.
Pietro Vinierno

Age: 6 (2 Felidian Years)
Job Class: Squire/Noble
The youngest of the Venierno children, Pietro is a sickly young child. Because of this, he is usually not allowed outside. However he shows optimism that he’ll get better and always shows a bright outlook in life.
Pietro is 4’ tall and weighs roughly under 40 lbs. Like his brother and father, he has short brown hair, but has red eyes like his father. He also has Light Brown Fur, and a tail, marking his Felidian heritage. His clothing consists of a Yellow Long sleeve Collared shirt and Yellow Cotton Pants.

Job Class: Arithmetician/Squire
Damon d’Idoni is the son of Piedro d’Idoni and Lucrezia Tourni. Though his father was sickly and relatively absent from the lives of his sons. Lucrezia instilled in him a fine sense of art and beauty that influenced his adult life. In addition to his life in the arts, he was also a talented Jouster, Hunter and Horse Breeder. As head of the Idoni Banking Clan and Gonfaliare of the Orizzontine Republic, he deeply cares for the welfare of his country through a peaceful, yet tedious alliance between various other Ratian states.
Damon wears extravagant robes that signify his riches and power of the Orizzontine Republic. He is 5’10” and weighs 180 lbs. He has long black hair extending to his shoulders, and brown eyes. Damon has Caucasian skin. Like his friend, Giovanni, Damon is an Arithmetician, and is skilled in the arts of Magic, as well as showing skill in swordplay as well.
Marco d’Idoni

Marco is Damon’s Stepbrother, being born to Pietro d’Idoni and his mistress and cousin, Fioretta Gidani. Like his stepbrother, Marco is passionate of the arts and culture of the Republic and works as his brother’s right hand. Marco became a legitimate child despite being the son of Pietro’s cousin through a political loophole.
Marco is 5’9” and weighs 170 lbs. He too has long black hair and brown eyes, and wears extravagant robes just like his brother. Unlike his brother he does not know magic but is made up with his skills in swordsmanship.
Umberto Arrigucci

Job Class: Squire
Umberto is considered to be one of the greatest lawyers in Ratian history. Despite being self-taught, he has won every case and tried against the worst criminals like murderers and rapists. As such, he was a trusted friend and ally of the Vinerno and Idoni Families. While he is a kind gentleman, he ached for revenge against the Idoni when he and his family were evicted from their home.
At 5’7” and weighing at 235 lbs, Umberto is not too skinny, nor too fat. He wears a crimson lawyer’s robe made of silk, and a Renaissance-type Beret. While he is a lawyer, he does not show much in terms of combat skill.
Vittoria Vinierno
Race: Felidian
Age: 45 (18 Felidian Years)
Job Class: Warrior/Assassin
Velia’s older sister and fellow Assassin, Vittoria is the head of I mercenari di Orizzonte. (The Mercenaries of Orizzonte) Although she is proud of her heritage, she prefers combat and group maneuvers over stealth and infiltration that Velia prefers. Vittoria lives in San Christiano, in the old Villa Vinerno, which serves as the headquarters of her mercenary band protecting Orizzonte.
Vittoria, or Vikki as she prefers to call herself, is 5’7” and very skinny. She has Brown hair extending to the bottom of her neck. She also has brown eyes. Vittoria wears lightweight chainmail armor under a green long jacket as well as green pants. Vittoria is skilled in a wide variety of weapons, with her preferred weapon being the Landsknecht Longsword.

Jesse Cassino Sforza, Duke of Mediolania
Race: Human
Age: 32
Job Class: Noble
Jesse Cassino Sforza is the son of Francesco Maria Sforza, a former condottiero who worked with Vittoria during the Lombardia Ratian Wars. Jesse continues his friendship and alliance with the Idoni family after their assistance against Eraclea and is a dutiful monarch. Although he is a patron of the arts and fancies music, Jesse does have a mean streak, which is usually blown out of proportions by his rivals and enemies across Ratio.
Jesse, while being a noble, was trained by his father in combat and is skilled in a wide array of weaponry. He is 5’8” and weighs 168 lbs. Like royalty, Jesse wears an extravagant crimson dress shirt, and jacket, as well as a pair of crimson tights. He has long black hair and blue eyes.
Olivia Soldati
Race: Felidian
Age: 52 Human Years (21 Felidian Years)
Job Class: Warrior/Monk
Olivia is a top general of the Mediolanian Army, she was formerly a member of Francesco Sforza’s mercenary band that took over and ruled the Duchy of Mediolania. Olivia is a wise advisor of Jesse Sforza, and is a friend of Damon d’Idoni, who helped broker the piece between each of the 4 Ratian powers (Mediolania, Eraclea, Napolia, Papal States) and Orrizonte. She can however be a bit protective of Jesse and the rest of the Sforza family. Olivia has black hair and brown eyes, both a rarity among the Felidian race.
Olivia is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant, but when it comes to weaponry, she relies on the use of her trusted battle axe.
Ami Fregoso
Race: Human
Age: 18
Job Class: Thief/ Monk
Ami Fregoso is the daughter of the late Doge of the Most Serene Republic of Liguria, Lodovico Fregoso. When Ami was 5 years old, she witnessed the assassination of his father by the Salvucci family and the Order of the Four Gods. Since then she had the burning desire for revenge against the people who did this to her. Ami has blonde hair and blue eyes. For over 13 years, Ami was taught by the thieves and spies of the city of Mediolania, after her home became a autonomy within Jesse’s Duchy. As such, Ami shows mastery of the Dagger as well as in hand-to-hand combat.
-Most Serene Republic of Eraclea:
Jessica Vendramin, Dogessa of Eraclea
Race: Human
Age: 35
Job Class: Doge
Jessica Vendramin is the first female ruler of Eraclea, and one of the youngest as well. She succeeded the recently passed Luca Mocenigo as Doge, or Duke of the Most Serene Republic of Eraclea. As a rival power to Mediolania in Southern Ratian Politics, she is fiercely competitive like her rival ruler, Jesse Cassino Sforza. Vendramin like many Renaissance-era leaders loves the arts and prefers paintings and music. For a Dogessa, she is quite skilled in Hand-to-Hand combat.
Jessica is 5’5” and has long blonde hair tied in a ponytail, as well as blue eyes. She wears a Blue Shirt with ruffled sleeves, a Red Jacket over it with the Eraclean Griffon on one side of the jacket. Jessica also wears blue tights as well.

Taddeo Salvucci
Race: Human
Age: 36
Job Class: Squire
Taddeo Salvucci was a rival merchant family to the Vinierno's, and hated the Idoni's for not giving him the head position (which was giving to Velia's husband, Giovanni)
Since then he has been planning military operations for one goal, to take over Libra and exceute those who wronged him. But he also a part of a secretive cult that could very well threaten the world.
