Individual sig size limit?

Hiya, I've been confused about what the size limit for individual signatures images are on FFF. I assumed it was 500 x 200, however I've seen a lot of people using sigs that were bigger than that supposed limit, so I just wanna know if there's a new limit now? O.O

From what I know the new "sig space" was 500x500. I doubt that means your signature can be that big, but... I also heard something like 210/220 shouldn't be a problem.

I'm unsure too.

Signature Limit

The maximum combined height for signature space will now be 500 pixels.

There is no limit on each individual signature as long your signature or signatures and text/quotes etc stay within the limits of 500x500. =)

Ah, alright then. So height-wise, as long as combined doesn't exceed 500, then it's kewl.

But what about length? What if putting images side-by-side is larger than 500, is that alright?

I doubt it, and seems kinda unneeded it also messes up the forum template, unless you have a widescreen.

Signature Limit

Just split your signature into smaller pieces, upload each piece and then put them in the right order in your signature space. I do it all the time.

Crop it in PS, undo, invert the selection and crop it again so you'll get all of the signature and you won't miss any bits due to human error when trying to select it.

EDIT: Obviously you save it after each crop.

Yeah I know that but then it says:

I thought that it meant that as long as they stay within 500x500 pixels that they could play in there with whatever size they wanted.

So is the size limit per signature still 500x200 even though the signature space is 500x500 now?

I think I'm confused now.

You can do what graye says and add more images, as long as your sigs combined dont exceed 500 x 500
