If FFIX were remade for the PS3...

I recently replayed through this game and i forgot just how good it was.
It would be awesome to see it remade for ps3 i think, cuz out of the ps1 final fantasys it has the best FMVs by far and theyd look amazing on the ps3.
Also id be quite interested in seein what freya looks like cuz i can never figure out her face in the game. The same goes with amarant.
i wouldnt change a thing about the game cuz its already perfect.
 
I would definitely give Necron some sort of back story, maybe some sort of sidequest (like Kingdom Hearts' Ansem's Report) could give you information on who he is, where he came from and why he seems intent on aiding Kuja in ending all life.

Some people say that Necron's story is in there if you look hard enough. I can't see it though :\

I was watching the FMV where The Invinsible is about to fly into Memoria and the Red Rose stops some White Dragons from following them, and I realised: Beatrix couldn't have been a playable character. Who would have summoned the Red Rose in her stead?
 
I know it's been said already but it needs to be said again: no random Active Time Events! they got RIGHT on my nerves :mad:
 
I'd like them to have normal body sizes.. well do you think it might ruin the image of being a tribute to older FFs? you know.. their heads being big but I'd damn love playing it when they're normal sized like an FF8 feel. I guess it'd never be underrated anymore with that.

It is, just abit short. He's the being who's job it is to set the universe back to 'zero', ie back to nothingness. Because of Kuja's actions and whats going on in the world at the time, he belives mankind wants to be destroyed and so begins his objective to obliterate everything.

Cool but pointless. I wouldv'e been happy with a harder Trance Kuja battle for the finale.

Anyways back on topic. It's unlikely they'll remake VII, VIII and thus IX, but if they did get around to doing it I would change the Trance System. Its annoying how you can't really control when it activates, there has been many times where a character goes into Trance but the enemy gets defeated before I can actually use the benifits of the Trance at all!
 
If it was remade, there are 2 things I would like to see.

1. Well obviously a graphics update since it would be on the PS3.

2. Make the battles faster. Even if you turned the battle speed up, the ATB was still slow compared to other battles.
 
id have to say the ONLY thing id change is the fact that you just go into trance mode when the bars filled. i always wasted it right before boss fights on some random little shitty enemies. that was the only thing that annoyed me. great, great game otherwise.
 
haha wouldnt it be cool if we just put games like this in the ps3 and they all got ps3 quality graphics? when i was younger i always thought that would happen.
