I live in America and I was wondering good places to purchase or rent Advent Children at decent disc quality. From what I can tell, it doesn't seem available in any regular stores such as Walmart or Target so including names special stores or rentals would be nice.

Note that rentals are preferred.

Well, I don't really rent movies very often, but if there is a Hastings close to where you live, they would probably have it for purchase and rental. I would have thought that Walmart would have it as Advent Children isn't that obscure of a movie. Also, what do you mean buy "decent disc quality"? You're just looking for a DVD, right?

Umm I would definately check Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, Family Video. All of those I am sure will have them, and all of them have the option of buying the movie. Also I have seen it at FYE, and other movie stores. I say try your nearest mall.

When I mean decent disc quality I mean for the DVD to be in decent shape, no scratches, etc. which is ruling out things like eBay and Amazon.

Sorry, I really do have a tendancy to word things weirdly..___.;

I know my local Movie Gallery has it, actually, because I've rented it about four times now >.> They've just got the one copy though, what with it not being all that popular around here.

My Walmart has it as well... or did when I last checked, at least. I don't know why yours wouldn't. Haven't checked Target or K-mart or anything, although I'm pretty sure K-mark has it as well.

Are you serious that WalMart really doesn't have it? We have it at both of the WalMarts out here as well as K-Mart. Do you have a mall nearby with a music/movie store like On Cue or F.Y.E? You can probably get it there as well because I know they sell stuff like anime and the AC dvd there as well. I bought my collector's edition from there a couple of years ago or so. Try places like that. If all else fails, you could always order it online like amazon.com or ebay.

I bought mine at gamestop like 2 years ago they had an abundance of them then, try hastings or Sam goodys <--- kind ov an obscure store these days but there still around i found mine pretty easily its pretty mainstream these days.

Those aren't quite the places I would go to if I was looking for quality. But that's just me. I bought Kingdom Hearts from Gamestop used. I think the prior owner spilled Pepsi on the cover. It sticks to my other games...XD

Best Buy is by far the largest owner of anime titles from the 'big stores'. I know, AC isn't an anime, but its animated, so same difference really. That's where I bought mine. Of course if I knew there would be a 'Complete' version, I never would have bought it. Anyway, Best Buy has quality stuff.

What's wrong with Amazon though? I almost always buy games/anime from Amazon and I've always been very pleased with what I've gotten. If the quality matches what is listed, its always been exactly that from what I've bought. Even the used games I've bought have had the discs themselves in very good condition. I only purchase stuff on Amazon that is either in 'Very Good' condition or up. You can get most of that stuff on Amazon for a fraction of the price in a normal store too. I've bought brand new games like SO4 on Amazon, saved about 10 bucks even with S&H.

I need to learn some restraint with these posts of mine. x3 I have personally found Amazon to be the best for me both in price and quality. If you buy on Amazon what the condition says it is, you almost always get that. Especially if its in 'Excellent' or 'New' condition. I have yet to be disappointed and I've used Amazon many times. If you really don't like that though, Best Buy is the most likely place to find one in good condition. If you like though, you can also go to Gamestop and personally request that they remove the disc for you to 'inspect'.

I looked all over for mine and finally bought from a third-party seller on Amazon for like $2. And it was like new,it really just depends on who you buy from. Anyway, I saw them at F.Y.E., not sure how popular that store is... but I have one at my local mall and one farther away.
My WalMart didn't have it either. I really do suggest buying online though... not all sellers sell old scratched discs.

If you have HMV over there then i know that they sell it.
Blockbuster have it here in the UK, probably worth checking there:D

Its definetley worth the buy!
Good Luck!

there are many places in which you can purchase the DVD,

any good HMV store, A few places online (such as Ebay) and any decent Blockbuster really, if there aint any copiesin these then im not quite sure as to where you could get a copy, as this is where go for all of my movie needs, and i am never dissapointed.
