I.

Ah what? Are you sure your not just having a wobble?

Im sure your good enough....?

Shitloads of bands need drummers, should be fine finding another I reckon.
I wasn't booted. :P

That'd work, Pooley, except that I'm the least creative person in the world. I'd just end up playing the same drum rhythms, over and over again. They want one of those naturally crazy drummers - though they wanted me to becoooooooome one of them. I just don't think I have that potential tbh.

Also, when I was asked if I wanted to leave, I said "I don't know" about a week ago and that apparently shows that my heart's not fully in it. :wacky:

didn't say you were, just saying how it's easy to get in another band if you wish to do so.

And uh, hate to break it to you mah boy, there's only so much you can do on a drumkit without repeating the same beat, without being like the drummer from tool or whatever, learned that a while back. The best way to get better as a drummer is to have experience playing with a band I find, so that may not have been the best decision if you wanted to improve.

Nooooooooo! D:

Don't do it Dave! You're a great drummer! If those poofters don't want you because they'd rather have a 'naturally crazy' drummer then so be it, but something tells me they're gonna have a hard time finding one of them without Danny doing drums and guitar at the same time or something (although he has done that before, I saw it ).

Don't do it. :wacky:

Any decent band doesn't want a 'crazy drummer'. They want one that 'works'. Like Finnegan said, there is only so much you can do before you start repeating yourself, but if it works it works. Talented drummers don't look for their talent, they earn it by practice with what they got now. Its allllll about the rhythm baby.

The way you worded, it sounds like the group had more faith in you than you do yourself. Talent comes from practice. Of course, practice is only any good if you have patience and the drive. If you feel you lack them, then perhaps you talent lies elsewhere, perhaps something else that may help the band. Maybe they'll help you in discovering it.

Also, you may feel that you lack creativity but the group should be helping too. That's why you are called a group. Get together and find a way to get past it.
