This is from our local newspaper. Just wanted to give you guys an idea of the amount of rain we've been getting the last couple days. The Hampton Roads area (about an hour north) got hit even harder.

Any time you see the Business 17 signs, that's about 3 blocks from my house.

Oh wow. That sucks.

I used to live in Raleigh. We would get rain from tropical storms and hurricanes but thankfully it didn't flood in most areas.
