The fact that it hasn't even added in my entire music library. I only need it so that the software for my new mp3 player can convert videos though. I don't see how that works though.

Whats wrong with Winamp? I use it to listen to my FLAC format music..
I use Media Player though to burn CDs, as id have to buy Winamp to get a decent write speed.

Also i never used iTunes but i feel apprehensive towards it as i hate apple products so much.

WinAmp > iTunes.

iTunes only runs as smoothly as it possibly can if you own a mac.
