I haven't smoked for about aweek, and barely smoked since I was out about 3 weeks ago :gasp:

All those times Ive decided I want to quit and it just happens by accident (I had a deadly hangover and just didn't smoke after that)

I have to say though I have had the odd moment when I think fuck it, Ineed a fag -growls- but I haven't :monster:

I wonder how long I can keep this up

And I know, it's a filthy habit blah blah blah, I don't need lectures about it I know all the bad shit so you don't need to remind me kthnx

I wish you the best of luck.

So... I can have the rest of your packet, plz? :monster:

Army Guy smoked them all -__-

Im impressed I haven't really had the urge for a fag really, although I expect it to spring on me at an hour I can't go to the shop so I'l be climbing the walls :gasp:

Just think of all the money you'll save! Cigarettes are damn expensive. Way to go trying to kick the habit, ma'am. Maybe those nicotine patches would help with the urges. Oooh...or that nifty gum. Probably tastes like crap, though.

That gum is normally even more expensive than cigs themselves, which is kind of ironic, I think. o_O

It is? What a rip off. Good health doesn't come cheap, I guess. I don't even know how that gum works. Wouldn't you still be addicted to nicotine? Being addicted to gum would suck...but at least you wouldn't die. Unless you ended up choking on it somehow.

What a bummer. You get the gum to save yourself, but end up choking to death on it. Laaaame.

Plus, the cheaper gums usually don't work as well. When my stepdad quit smoking a while back, he got this special gum that was super expensive. It basically trained him to hate to associate this horrible taste with nicotine, it was kind of interesting.

I guess the idea is to peel away the nicotine addiction, but very slowly. I still don't fully understand it myself. =\

Guys, let's try to put more effort into our posts, yes? This is in Costa afterall. =]

Anyway, since you don't want lectures, I guess all I can say is...cigarettes is bad for you! :wacky: Seriously though, just hang in there. If you truly want to quit, you'll quit. I don't know what the addiction feels like, so I know it's easier said than done. But yeah, think about the cost. You'll save more money. xD Money > cigarettes.

Wish you the best of lucks!!! I know its hard to quit but, if you've made up your mind, and are determined enough, you can do it without the need of that nicotine gum or whatnot! I know that cuz my old man used to smoke a lot but then he just decided to quit....and he did! I know you can do this!

Well done and good luck! ^w^

My parent's friends used to be heavy smokers but they gave up 6 months ago and haven't touched one since ^.^ I don't think they used gum or anything. Just went and did something when they wanted one. Ehh I don't know ;S

Keep it up Kel or I'll be paying for a private show for you by your favourite children's entertainer:

Looooooooooook :gasp:

That nicotine gum is awful, my friend made me try some at work yonks back and it was awful, and it made me feel lightheaded >_>

It was disgusting, I don't think I'l bother with that OR patches, at the end of the day it's just will power....something I seem to lack most of the time haha, but I'm still not smoking. Tomorrow will be the real test when Im out and about getting wankered.

Cigarettes and alcohol go to well tofgether, just ask Liam & Noel >_<

Kudos to you! It's always great to see someone kicking that bad habit. I wish you lots of luck with it. =) And, as mentioned early, you'll be able to save plenty of money now. And as for the gum, I've heard some of them aren't that bad. Like, the cinnamon ones apparently taste pretty good.

But, if you're looking to do it entirely from will-power, than that's even better. =)

Just think of all the shoes you could buy with the cigarette money. :monster:

I really wish my dad would stop smoking, but whenever he's asked about it (my gran is the only one with the guts to do it) he just says he has no intentions of quitting. It bothers me not only because I'm concerned about his health, but the rest of my family's too. It really hurts to see my little brother surrounded by my father's cloud of smoke, I think one of us would have to go into hospital before he considered stopping. :( And I have a feeling it's going to be me because I already have lung problems. :gasp:

Anyway, yeah. Good luck Kelly. :monster:

Mile stone last night

Went out, got hammered, Danny got a cigarette of Greg and past me half, I had 2 drags and handed it back, it made me feel sick :monster: I'd been craving one for half the night aswel, then I got one and didn't want it

And because Im hungover today, smoking is the last thing on my mind. I think I can officially call myself a non-smoker. Woohoo, get me :neomon:
