I need help with Adel

I had already defeated Cactuar the other day but now I am having problems with Adel. Adel keeps killing me, a lot of the spells I have don't really work and I cannot even use my LV. 100 squall without hurting Rinoa with Blasting Zone or Fated Circle. Does anyone have any tips for defeating Adel?

Use attacks that attack Adel only. So that means GF's and sadly Renzokuken are out of the question. Keep healing Rinoa when Adel drains her HP and you should be fine

Although you should be ok using Renzokuken as long as you heal Rinoa straight away, just keep an eye on her HP using scan and you should be fine

 

[Contra Fates]

I'm not sure if it works, but you might be able to cast Regen on Rinoa, to keep healing her while you fight.

If you go into the fight with your characters having high attack-junctions, you should be able to take Adel down by just attacking her continuously. The Regen should take care of Rinoa. If the Regen doesn't work, then, like Bam said, be sure to heal her continuously.

Junction Ultima/Meteor/Holy to your MAG. Then cast Aero consistently with that person. That should deal major damage to Adel since she is weak to the Wind element. If you have Tonberry, use Junk shop with him and equip the original Revolver. That way, you'll only use the first 'extra' limit on Adel.

Don't forget to cast shell as well as Regen on Rinoa and your party; that way, Drain won't affect her as badly

But like everyone said, just attack Adel with single target spells and regular attacks and heal when necessary.

Didn't you realize you can junction magic to increase your stats?
Either junction death to your MAG, and cast Aero on Adel.
Or junction death to your STR, then use Aura on Squall, and keep using Renzokuken, on Adel.
