I need help defeating final boss of the game. Jecht is much to difficult. I will accept any and all suggestions. PLZ!!!

Well, I'll try to give you some help, the team I used was Yuna, Tidus and Auron. the Pagodas (the things next to Jecht final Aeon) make Auron use Zombie attack on them so they will be hurting themselves rather then healing, also use slowega on them to slow their turn rate if their still bothering you. Also kill one so their turns are separated when their revived. Start of with Tidus using hastega on everyone. For me Yuna was the healer of the group I also used her to cast holy on Jecht if everyone HP's was up. Make Yuna cast protect on all three of them and the first form should hopefully be over quickly (He has around 40,000HP i think.)
With the secord form you want to stop him from using his overdrive by using the talk command for Tidus to lower the gauge just when it is almost full, it will eventually have no effect in which i summoned a aeon to use it's overdrive and then get attack with Jecht's overdrive and not the party.
I hope this helped as this was a small summary of what i did to kill him in my secord playthrough about 3-4 weeks ago. Also what is your character's hp?

Huh... i had no idea that thos pagoda stones were vulberable to zombie... and those 3-man team of auron tidus and yuna are a good combo too! Thats basically the only team i use in that boss. Tidus and Auron have at least 4500 or more ho. yuna has 3000 or more.

With those Hitpoints you should do fine, just you should put protect on all party members and remember to heal up when necessary. You just gotta watch out for his overdrive secord form, as I remembered getting owned by it and also i think my partys had less hp's then yours so i had to have protect at all times. Good luck with beating him and remember to report back to me when you owned him

Turn him into a zombie, then use a Phoenix Down on him. You can easily get a sword for Tidus with the Zombie attribute.

Uh... im pretty sure he's immune to instant K.O. And I successfully beat his first form and nearly beat his second form. Im just better preparing them now!

just keep using zombie and like every time he heals itll do 1500 to him self and then hell do it again but baiscally instead of 3000 hp gained he gets 0 hust dont use to much mp

You can't buy ethers in FFX!
I'm not sure how rarely you can steal them but I got a good few.

...OH. Thats a relief I always seem to run out of MP at the most important parts of the fight. LOL

Apparently, he's not immune to Phoenix Downs. If it doesn't work, use X-Potions on him instead.
Or if you want to win without using terrible cheese tactics...
How far around the Sphere Grid are you? Which aeons do you have? Do you have any of the ultimate/Celestial weapons?
As a general rule of thumb, try to have armours that protect against petrification (in my experience, the most troublesome ailment that he can inflict) and whack away with the most powerful things you can hit him with (charge up your overdrives, and those of your aeons, beforehand).
Don't bother using Grand Summon if your aeons all have full overdrive bars - he'll kill them and heal to full health again before you can use your second overdrive.
Right before he uses his own overdrive on you, throw out your first aeon and use their overdrive. They'll shield you from death when he uses his, and inflict a fair bit themselves. He might heal a bit before he kills your aeon but it'll be worth it for missing his overdrive.
He has a second form with an all-attack and 120,000hp afterwards, too, so save some stock for that.

Hey! Thanks for the tip!
I defeated Jecht just the other day......for no reason, mostly with Bahamut by himself, it was easy, but my Bahamut Aeon is extensively customized. Not the point I know lol
But you should really be better prepared when facing down the FinalAeon..
If you are always running out/low on MP then procure lotsa ethers, lotsa them!

Your screwed lol.......I was serious though, Yu is far more difficult, well beyond you if you are struggling against the FinalAeon, no spoilers , but you should leave......level up get "Celestial" weapons.....level up some more.
