Basically yes. I'm late. However, that is 13 years of ff7 loving just building up and i'd just like to ask you what your favourite final fantasy moment was? Just to bring me back in time a little and remember my favourite game!

Mathew

Cloud reaching upward for Aerith at the end of the game. It was just so touching and so beautiful. It was just really nice to have a clincher between Cloud and Aerith. So sweet.

Then I really like her death. It's the first time we see Cloud speak from the heart and act like a man with emotions. Which he wasn't acting like before meeting Aerith. Also, I pick this scene because Aerith is my favorite FF girl and it was sad to see her go. But what a bittersweet scene.

I think you should use SPOILER tags here, since there are others who didn't play or still didn't finish the game, so it's not nice to ruin it for them...

My favorite part was the beginning of Disc 4 (I played it on PC btw)
The highwind going all SUPER was just awesome, I also like the part in Forgotten City that part was truly marvelous, Tifa caring for Cloud, Cloud coming back on his feet again, those parts really made me impressed

Hi.

VI is my favorite Final Fantasy. However, X, my second favorite, is a bit more fresh on my mind.

Hey Kei, sorry im new at this. Not a clue what im doing really :P

And sky+earth, yes that is brilliant absolutely loved the death scene (not in a sick way) but it was definitely one of the best scenes out there. My favourite character was Tifa by a long way. She always just sort of told Cloud to grow up. Throughout the game.

VI is definitely one of the better ones. And i'd have to say X is the last good final fantasy game that came out. (Sorry if anyone is amazed by the looks of XII and XIII but that seems to be all they have to give)

Mod Edit: Please do not double post. There is an edit feature at the bottom of your post if you need to add to it. Thanks. :)

to grow up? :lmao:

Another great scene is Cloud fighting Sephiroth, the last battle. That was just so epic.

I think 9 was the last epic one, but 12 was pretty good to. 13 is only eye candy I agree.

Anyways, all the scenes when the weapons attack had me on my toes :)

I loved FFVII!

Glad to see someone who loves it! The whole game was my "favorite part", but I really liked the part where
Tifa helps Cloud find himself in the lifestream.
. It was a powerful moment in the game in my opinion. I thought it showed a deep connection between them that was already apparent, but not quite as strong until then.

The whole game was great, and I think the side games like Crisis Core are great as well.

Guess I was wrong for assuming that by now even those who never played the game would know that
Aerith dies
oh well.

My fondest memories of Final Fantasy was meeting Aerith and Yuna for the first time. Oh yes VII, VIII and X share me fondest memories. Let see and I love me some summons. Kicking ass with Shiva on FFVIII is still fun to this day, and so is her FFX counterpart. -nods, nods- Yeah no wonder I'm replaying Final Fantasy VII right now. Memories :ryan:

Let's remember to keep this thread on topic and not post one-liners, thanks. :) It's about FFVII, not X, XII, XIII or VI.

Nice one. FFVII may have aged visually, but it's one of those games that stand the test of time. I would only re-play a small handful of games on the PSone nowadays, FFVII being one of them.

Favourite moment? The entire game is brilliant from start-to-finish, but if I hand to pick one it would probably be when Cloud is virtually incapacitated in a wheelchair and you have to quickly save him before getting sucked into the liftstream. Or, the first time I saw the Gold Saucer. Another great moment is when the game allows you to dabble in transvestism so you can sneak into a brothel and then men start coming onto you. Hilarious.

Protip: be sure to get "BigGuard". It makes the game much easier.

lol! I just played through that brothel scene a couple of days ago. Oh man was it funny. I like taking my sweet time once after Cloud puts on the dress and the wig just to talk to everybody and see what the dialog is. The lesson is men in Midgar turn into zombies around hot girls.

Cloud: Now I know how it must feel like to be Tifa!

13 years ago, FFVII was the game's most advanced and superior than every games at that time ,especially in the CG.

Moreover the story of Final Fantasy was changed era , it changed from fantasy world to modern era and it is complicated match the current social conditions. In particular a love triangle , Cloud ,Tifa and Aerith.

It was the first time of Final Fantasy that heroine died. Fans of FFVII and many people tried to find a way to revived Aerith again.
(Including me too.)

Therefore, the above reasons. I regard it as the greatest game I've ever played.

favorite part...wow that's a difficult thing to pick because vII was just that good
1.) finding a chest in kalm that simply cannot be opened even after logging 250+ hours of playing restarting searching for a way to open that dang chest lol
2) when they are on the mountain side trying to get their materia from yuffie but she is captured by don corneo and vincent says "it's not what you're doing so much as the idiotic way you're doing it" man that was jsut hilairous to me
3.) tifa punching out scarlet on the junon cannon (even though it already said sister ray on it)
4.)when cloud sneaks out of areis's house and she already beats him to the path to get to sector...5? i can't remember the number name of it

i could go on because VII is so freaking amazing
