After spending the past few days discussing AC/LO and the actual FFVII game... I think I need to replay it. As much as I hate playing it because I always lose intrest after the first disc, because I know whats going to happen, I think that I need to. I'm going to put myself through the hell of getting another "Perfect Data".

Any suggestions to spice things up this time around (Ways to play)?
 
Use the Buster sword through the entire game.
 
use no materia througout the game i did that last week god its hard lol at least you have a f--k load of hp at the end lol or i could find you smash you around the head with a frying pan so you get amnesia and you won't know what happens in the game :)
 
I was actually thinking of that. I might just stick to using everyones begining weapon. Besides, all the first weapons look the coolest anyway.

Nah, I like using materia. Its part of hating the game :D . Like getting the Enemy Skills like Beta at the begining.

Buy a cheat disk - and...erm...Reverse what happens at the end of disk one ^_^

I read about this challenge thing somebody made where you play through the whole game only using Cid. Well, at least after you get him.
 
Yeah! For one, use completly different characters. well, you have to use cloud but for the other 2, choose different chars. Also, try to get as many limit breaks as you can. It's cool to see what they look like, and I've played the game about 8 times, just to get everyone's limits so I would see what they look like.

Screw around with the menu options to change the menu color. I got purple once and another time, watermelon! (twas fun!)

there's more, but I can't think of them right now.


 
its hard to do that you have to make sure cloud is either dead or you just skip through his turn
 
Eh, not really sure. I'd say try to get everything you can, but it sounds like you've done that before and plan on doing it anyway. Use a main party fullof characters that you never would ahev thought of using before.

Example: Cid, Red XIII, and...Yuffie?
 
I was thinking about using the team of,

Cloud (Because I have to)
Red XIII (Because I've never used him as a permanent character before)
Tifa (Because Aerith has other duties to attend to)

I have a Gameshark, but for some reason it wont let me add codes to the PS1 version (the thing is made for the PS2, piece of junk *cough*), so using Aerith for the whole game isn't there for me :sad: .

What? No, I said to use 2 different chars than what you had last time. Meaning, the first time you played, you used Cloud, Tifa, and Cid. The next time, instead of the same chars, use different ones, like Cloud, Red, and Yuffie.

where the hell did you get knocking cloud out from that??
 
And why would I want to knock out Cloud? He's got my psycological (sp, grr) issues then the contestants on Jerry Springer.

Oh sorry I thought SG was responding to something else. I was talking about this thing some guy made about a Cid challenge in which you beat the game only using Cid.
