Playstation I beat Star Ocean The Last Hope!!!

I must say that Square Enix did a beautiful job on making this rpg. The storyline is so awesome and the graphics are very beautiful. I also must say that this is the best rpg I have played so far on Xbox 360. This game has the MOST challenging non story line acheivements. Also the hp of enemys is just a life bar. Bosses however have ???? hp. I completed this very beautiful game but I will continue to play to get the hard acheivements. Also Private actions change the game alot. This game is CHALLENGING! The Last boss took me 6 hours minimum. I recommend this game to anyone who loves JRpgs. There are hidden endings but you need to have high affinity with your characters to get them. Im missing 3 endings. If you want challenging achievements then this is the game!

How many of the Achievements did you get on your first play through? I have 490, 27/50 Achievements from my first one. I tried the first secret dungeon the cave of the seven stars but, there is a LARGE difficulty spike. I am sure I will complete it someday though.

I haven't even hit the 20% in Battle Trophies yet, I got most of my Achieves from collectibles (Ships, Treasures, Monsters), Quests and the Colosseum.
I am not stuck on Gabriel Celeste, I am stuck on the Bees in the first level of his dungeon.
Stupid Bees are stronger than the final boss it seems.

EDIT: I did get all the endings, even the secret Faize and Crowe endings.

Edge is somewhere in the 80s since I always use him in my party. The rest range from Late 70s to late 60s. I synthesized some EXP gear though(Adding four %EXP earned attributes) so level gain will be quicker than usual.

Some ship data is on Aeos in the beginning... it's missable along with certain quests on Lemuris. I am not going for the Difficulty achievements yet. If I replay the game I will up the difficulty though. Since you're Monster and collection data carries over if the saves are on the same XBOX profile, it will make Maxing out all my monsters for synthesis very easy.

I got lucky for during the Satanail fight. I got Edge's battle trophy for beating a grigori with a rush combo on the final boss. It feels so good to have that BT out of the way.

Recently I have been playing the PS1 version of Star ocean: the second story. It is nice to see where great games like Star Ocean: TLH got their roots.

Oh are you serious I got that battle trophy too. My Edge was at level 74 when I beat Satanail. Oh did you get the battle trophy for defeating 100 Kokabiel spawns with Bacchus? It was easy all I did was spam termination. I was hoping for an achievement for defeating Undying Dragon. But he was a big pushover. Satanail has like over 5 million hp. My hands were tired at the end of the damn fight.

No, I didn't get that Bacchus trophy, I will on a later playthrough. The Undying dragon was a real easy fight it's just the MASSIVE amount of HP that drags it on and on. I love star ocean games because of the long fights that can happen. Last time I played all I did was gather people's Ultimate skills with the Darkness ring. After I beat Gabriel and get the water ring I can go for the 100% Treasure Achievement.

The only Achievements I am worried about are the Item Creation(I have 40%, Doesn't tell me what I have already created though) and the Battle Trophies(900 of them and I have barely reached 180) I have gathered all the NPC and boss weapons for my collection data though(All I need is the Gabriel Weapon, Ethereal Queen Weapon and the Cyuss Weapon) Not counting all the Player weapons I need to create and buy.

Edge is rank 3 in the Collesuem but, the battles get so hard after a while. I need some Potent Stat seeds to make him a god.

After I beat Star Ocean 2 I will have completed every Star Ocean game.
I love them all. There is so much to do other than the main story.

The only thing that made me mad about The Last Hope was there were no secret characters or choices you have to make between one or the other like in the previous games.

Do you happen to know the Level Cap before I get 50% of the battle trophies? I have looked online and cannot find it.

The story compared to TTEOT before the PLOT TWIST is mediocre but, it is still a good game nonetheless.

The characters are pretty awesome actually. Everyone of them is unique but, as I stated earlier you get all of them in one playthrough, no secret ones and no choices between them.

It is still a good 360 RPG and if you liked the previous Star oceans you will like this one.

Yes The Last Hope is much better than Till the end of time. Edge is awesome. Reimi is cute, Lymle is adorable and the rest I will not tell XD. I just love em all!

Edge's doesnt count for Arumat. Just make Arumat and Edge be roomates as soon as you get him and do all the PAs involving them.

Faize and Crowe's are harder to get you need to do certain things throughout the entire game to get them, I don't have the list on hand. Look up a Ending walkthrough if you want them. You will need to start a new game.

I don't think Faize wanders around the Calnus, he'd have nothing to say about what is going on currently in the story.
I know you get the choice between the two, even though Faize is a lame character to use in battle. His BTs will be my least favorite it get.

Well ive been playing Star ocean tlh like crazy right now! I just got one of the colloseum acheivements. Im going to keep playing this game until I 1000G it. But some Battle trophies are so ridicously hard to get. Also some battle trophies consume alot of time.

I was going to play until I 1000g'd it. That dream died when I saw how hard it was to get some BTs.
I still want to get a really high GS in it though. Just to show that I played the hell out of it.

Well I am now Rank 2 in the collismeum. Edge is level 108 Bacchus is level 94 Myuria is level 99 and Sarah is level 104 All the rest are level 62 to 80. I got another colliseum acheivement. But Rank 1 Ashlay has like 5000000, 400000 hp. He kills you in 1 or 2 hits but tommorow ima own his ass. Im now on the 5th floor of Celeste's dungeon. Once I beat Celeste ima go for the Ethereal Queen. Also Im probably going to do all the quests on Univervse Mode. I got so many Bts today. im closing in on 30 percent BT.

Ummm sorry for the double post. Just updating on my Star Ocean TLH Challenge. Well I beat the colliseum Solo and team the other day. I also got the 30% BT acheivement the other day. Today I finally beat Ashlay. What a bastard fight. Im very close to 40% BT Acheivement. Got SO Many BTs today. Also I now have 400 out of 1000G in SO TLH. Also tommorow I shall beat Celeste{40G} and im hoping to at least get 60% of BTs by next week. Also got to do all the quests. Forgot to do some of em. ill start Uni mode soon
