Playstation I beat Star Ocean The Last Hope!!!

When you unlock Universe/Chaos mode is when the fun really begins. I've been at this game for 2 weeks now and the bosses are nothing to laugh at. Right now I'm trying to beat the Ethereal Queen and this is my 5th/6th try. She spams all her most powerful attacks its ridiculous my characters had max hp/mp with the best equips and she still OHKO'd some of them. So yeah gotta think of a plan to beat her. D:
 
Of course I will Beat the game on the hardest difficulty. I did say I was going for the 1000G right? Also can someone put the number of bts you need for 60 percent, 70 percent, 80 percent and 90 percent plz. It would be helpful. Also are you trying the Ethereal Queen on chaos spread?
 
No I'm on Universe. It took me long enough just to beat her on Galaxy. Cause she like to spam Supernova. Universe is probably where I'm gonna stop I really don't want to imagine how hard Chaos is <_<;
 
Supernova is really easy to dodge in my honest opinion. Use Arumat the whole battle. NO one else! Use dragon Roar during rush mode all the time and then form a rush combo. Make sure to have Arumats Beat level s(I think) at rank 20. By the way have you bought very powerful equipment from Santa? Also Make sure to do all Santas quests. I did them all on my first visit. Omg I think ima have to take on 4 winged and 6 winged Ethereal Queen if I want that Ic acheivement. Fuck that going to be so loooonnnnnnnnggggg. The wandering dungeon that is. I am now at Cardianon mothership. Did every private action so far but I fucked up on the triom shop orders. After Lyms grandpa dies you can not do the darn shop orders. That says too me Ill get the 100 percent quest acheivement on Chaos mode. 33 percent of Bts complete with Faize. I enjoy using Faize. I missed him.

Well I started playing Again and I just got the 60 percent of all BTS acheivement. Ha 640 out of 1000G now. Well now Its time to start anew on universe mode. Im starting right now. Hopefully finish in 3 weeks or something but I doubt it. Im not giving up on my challenge yet! Also Im going to chose to keep Faize instead. Ill go back to Arumat on chaos I think. So ya thats the update. Just got the ship savan acheivement. 660 out of 1000G now.

I got all 1000G today tbh. :monster:
I think I did pretty well considering it came today and won't be able to play it until tomorrow when I'm at the motherships, I have a feeling though that I've been charged and sent 2 so I'm going to have to send 1 back for a refund, or I'm going to Skegness and trade it in for cash at GAME so that Vittoria can give me more money >_>

That's not very nice ;_; and no I mean the motherships as in mothers, where the 360 is :wacky: I've yet to play it at all yet, hence the reason I must wait until tomorrow :sad: And the copy of Star Ocean I'm going to get, I've already got one and I think they're sending my another one even though I said cancel it >_>

Well Ryan Star Ocean III Till the end of time has versus mode xD. Who knows if Star Ocean TLH will have one as dlc. I highly doubt it because versus mode was shite in III. My Arumat would rape you
 
I really hope for online versus mode using your characters with the exact stats from the game. It would be a nice feature for people without offline friends who want to play an RPG with you(All my friends aren't really into RPGs so we play other things)

It would also give me a reason to Level up some more.
 
The graphics are gorgeous, even in-game. :ryan:
I'm still going to have to get used to this whole battle system and flicking between characters. It seems when you're using one character it's attacking the other -__-
 
Yay Ryan Im glad you like the graphics :awesome: You will get used to it Ryan im sure xDD. Is this your first time playing an Star Ocean game? Btw it gets really good after disc 1. Dont forget to follow the pRIVATE ACTION GUIDE if you want all endings in one go.

Yeah, this is the first Star Ocean game I've played :gonk:
And I'll make sure to follow the guide for the endings :ryan:, I think the tutorial isn't beneficial for the switching character thing, overall it's a brilliant tutorial and I wouldn't know half of what I'm doing without it, but when you're in the character switching tutorial in battle, both Edge and his blue clone thing don't take that much damage really so you can happily use one character without worrying about the other and vice versa whereas when you get into the actual game, particularly that first battle with the spides/wasps when Reimi joins the party it's much more difficult when switching as whilst you're playing as one the other one is being constantly attacked so it's having to get used to constant changing >.>
 
Well of course you have to change characters when they are in danger but trust me when you get really stong weapons and such you wont really need to. But lets say for example. Reimi is weak at first but she gets really strong after if you keep her in your party and level up. Have you gotten Lymle yet btw? Shes a good healer but later on there is someone better. Also you will enjoy the Private actions. Some are really funny xDDD. Be careful what you do though.

No I've only just gotten to the stage where Reimi joins the party :gonk: And I know you're supposed to switch characters, there's just a HUGE jump of difficulty between the tutorial and in actual battles that the tutorial does nothing to prepare you for :wacky:

Lol Tlh is the first in the series. So if you are going to play the others than you are following the story quite well :awesome: I love the drunk scenes in Star Ocean I :awesome: Are you saying that insect battle was difficult? All you had to do was smash them with Your sword xD. The tutorial sucks. Dont use the battle simulator its useless

Not the first one, the one as soon as you can enter the forest once you've crashed ;_; I thought it might be like TLR and the more enemies you fight at once the better the reward, only when I was Edge they kept attacking Reimi then once I switched to her to help her Edge got his arse kicked. :jtc:
